How much time during the day do you have?!? This is terrific! I can't imagine having that much time to play on the web. What do you do in real life? :D

Hey guys!
Derek here!
Sorry I haven't been around so long...I had some strep throat thingy going on...but I'm back now!
Fabulous work with the house guys!
Logan posted the website already I see :D :D GREAT JOB CHLOE!
Go over there and get signed up now! That's what I'm doing :D
I shall catch up on the questions now:

What do you think were Esme's thoughts when Jasper and Alice arrived in the family? How does she feel about each and what were her reactions to their pasts?
In Esme fashion, she definitely feels good about them. She will have faith in them, and hope they have an okay transition into "vegetarian" style life.

She was probably thrilled to get a couple more 'children.' She would be very sympathetic because of Jasper's violent past, and would want to help him be a good vegetarian. And I'm sure she loved Alice's enthusiasm and thought it was sad that she didn't remember anything about her human life. She also would have been happy to have them come live with them.

Derek, I love that you pick out houses that look like the EDC have been practicing with  .

I think we should preserve the metal roof and either replace it with a historically appropriate one or try our best to restore it. The house has great character!

Derek, cool house! I love the roofline. Maybe a little paint and some shoring up on the old foundation. Just a little work and it should be move-in ready.
Thanks for the website Chloe. Very cool.

I think she felt compassion for them, but was probably a bit reserved at first. Remember, Jasper looks vicious to vampire eyes and has had a very violent past. His scarred face scared Bella the first time she really saw him. Also, he wasn't willing to give up hunting humans for a while, so he came with a certain amount of risk to her family. Mom's don't like risky people, which is why we never like the guys our daughters bring home (sorry Twilight guys, but it's true). She would have been very hospitable, but she probably took a little while to warm up to them.

When I've participated in other discussions on other threads people always seem to be at a loss with Esme. One particular facet is faith. We know Carlisle feels there is a God and vampires have souls, but how do you think Esme feels about faith, God and the life beyond for vampires?

On other threads the general response is 'I don't know' or that she goes with Carlisle. However, I'm inclined to believe that Esme has a much more independent thought process. And while she may agree with Carlisle, I don't think it's due to her not having her own opinion.

Any thoughts?

right, well I've registered over there!
love the site!

I think that Esme believes simmilarly to Carlisle, she loves her 'children' and has to believe that there is some where that will reward them for their struggles, their trials, how they rejected their very nature so they could do good in the world.
