When Edward leaves: "Apocalypse Please" during the part of their discussion in the woods (when she realizes where this conversation is headed) followed immediately by "Blackout" as she collapses and everyone is looking for her. (Have there be no sound/dialog in the film - just the song playing).

The song I think would fit perfectly especially when Edward goes to Italy because he thinks Bella is dead is Deathcab for Cutie's "I will follow you into the dark". It just has that feeling of never wanting to be without someone, even in death. Or that life isn't worth living without the one you love. Also, Rob has to contribute another beautiful ballad on the next soundtrack! Just HAS to.

"Swim" by Jack's Mannequin for sure! I agree, it's like this song was written for the movie.

I would realllllllllllllllly love to see Carter Burwell compose another score and some other music for the soundtrack!

Agreed to a large degree, but the lyric is "Love of mine/Someday you will die...", so it's future tense in the song, not what should be past tense in the scene.

I think this song fits best in one of two places:

1) Twilight-the-book where Bella asks Edward why didn't he let her change into a vampire. Then it's purely figurative in the sense of "I'll follow you into the dark" = "I want to go to the dark side, too". (That they combined this scene in with dancing at the prom makes "Flightless Bird/American Mouth" supersede this song as it fits the circumstances/scenery better for the purposes of the movie, IMHO).

2) Breaking Dawn - waiting for the Volturi to arrive and having the thought between the two of them that these moments may be their last together. (Don't have an exact chapter/page #, sorry... )

Totally agree. Like others have said, My Immortal is great as well.
But there MUST be Paramore in this movie. All of their songs basically define me, and Hayley is such a good singer/songwriter. Decode was amazing, but I really want them to make a song that connects in a less obvious way.

ooooooh, I've been thinking about this one. First of all, "Swim" by Jack's Mannequin would be freaking AWESOME in this movie. I also love "I'll Follow You Into the Dark" by Deathcab for Cutie. That's actually on SM's soundtrack for Breaking Dawn, but oh well. I think it would be really really cool if Paramore put a song on every movie's soundtrack--"Decode" fit perfectly with Twilight, I know they could do it again for NM. Dashboard Confessional are also big fans of the books--maybe they could write a song for it. AND, I always, always automatically hear "Hide and Seek 2" by Imogen Heap when he leaves her in the woods and she's just wondering around. Makes me cry everytime. Like I am postive I will be sobbing if that is in the movie. Any Muse song is great too.

they're a tiny band, but this song is FANTASTIC.
The lyrics are so sad. it'd be perfect with the whole "I did not resurface" thing, after edward leaves.

I would really love to have some paramore songs on the soundtrack. I love that band! they also did a really good joe with decode and i caught myself. I also really really want blue october to be on the soundtrack cause well they're my favorite band and Hate Me fits in perfectly with edward's feeling during NM.
