Sorry about the double post, but since my last post was from 2 days ago, I feel like maybe its okay...
But did everyone hear!? They are announcing all the songs that will be on the soundtrack tomorrow! Squeeee!
But some bad news... none of our ideas are gunna make it to the soundtrack, Alex Patsavas, who is in charge of getting the music for the soundtrack, released a statement saying all the music featured on it is going to be brand new. Which I think is super exciting because it means most the bands will all be writing the songs especially for New Moon!

Well, that is exciting and upsetting at the same time. Hopefully we'll see a good number of the bands we wanted represented on it, though.

I have no idea who these people are: Lykke Li, Anya Marina, Hurricane Bells, Sea Wolf, Editors, Alexandre Desplat.
And somewhere I heard that Coldplay were going to be on there, so that's a bit of a disappointment. And of course it's hard to judge beyond the band since they're all new songs. But here's to hoping they're all as good as the DCFC song is.

Lykke Li is some swedish girl that sings only happy songs... I don't know the rest.
Some songs are available on Youtube (DCFC's song, Muse's song and Ok Go's song) so go check them out!

I'm so excited! Its so cool that they are all original songs! Even the ones that were previously recorded (Muse and OK Go) are being re-amped for the soundtrack! And I'm totally digging the random indy-ness of the soundtrack, I have a feeling it's going to be pretty awesome.
1 month and 30 days until New Moon!!! EEEEPPPP
Lol, I'm guessing this thread might fizzle now that the real soundtrack has been made...

I'm listening to the Muse track, I belong to you, just now.
The lyrics are so appropriate and it's such a haunting melody, it's just perfect!
How much pain has cracked your soul?

i can't wait to hear the rest of the soundtrack. It's going to have such a different vibe from the Twilights.
