The New Moon is EXACTLY hwat I predicted it would be. Chris Weitz is a phenomenal Film maker (a term not limited to directing). I'm glad that this soundtrack won't have the generic rock from the Twilight Soundtrack (with the exception of Mutemath and Iron & Wine).
The soundtrack includes bands that are already in my iPod.

Ever since I heard I Belong to You for the very first time, I instantly connected it with NM. I was almost sure that it would be in the movie soundtrack.
The most fitting E & B song for NM, don't you agree?

Yes, and I'm VERY excited to see how Muse transforms the song to make it unique for New Moon! I bet it's going to be fantastic.

I know it's been mentioned here before, but I ran across My Immortal by Evanescence again today, and it really is such a fitting song!

The list of songs is out already, and some songs are already out or are new versions for the movie. I'm pretty sure it's on Stephenie's website if you want to check it out.

I totally agree with your song choice! When I first heard the album I immediately thought of this song and I belong to you as possibly being in the movie. I think Muse's new album is amazing! It fits into New Moon.

I just pre-ordered the soundtrack as well
I wish the video for Meet Me on the Equinox had come with the preorder, or at least the single. I do like the Satellite Heart song but I am addicted to the Death Cab for Cutie song!
