Oh wow, she does match what Emily looks like when I read about her...What else has she been in? And I wonder how they are going to show the scar(s) on her face...Do you think they'd have a flashback moment? (We did hear that story in NM right, or am I getting my books mixed up again?)

I think she's so beautiful... she would make a good Leah to, probably.. but I just always saw her as Emily

I wish I had pictured specific actors and such for the characters, I pictured random people so I can never explain what they look like to people. And I have this problem where if I try to focus and see how I picture them as I read the book, I can't picture them. So I only have a general idea of how they look. It's like I have a ghost of a film playing in the back of my mind of the book as I read it, so I can see it, but I can't. And if I try to pay attention to it, it disappears.

It's hard to explain. But it sucks. I want a perfect image in my mind of how I imagine the characters!

I wonder why Vancouver??? Isn't it going to be cold there in late March- April???
Taylor said he'll be going in late March. YIKES, that's going to be cold for the werewolves to to half naked...

Agreed. It is going to be crazy cold for all of them to be going around like that. They need the forests and dirrt roads, which is in my opinion why they chose Vancouver. Personally, I think they could find somewhere a tad warmer that still had the scenery.

I really hope they announce the specific characters soon. I have my theories on what the characters should look like, according to the book's description, but no familar faces to put to them. If the movie is going to come out this year, they technically need to get a cast list. Taking in to consideration of course, the effects they'll need to use, and more importantly, the destinations they will need to film in. Plus, I'm pretty sure that the fandom will go nuts soon if they don't announce the cast pronto.

I don't think Vancouver is really cold past March, so I think he'll be okay. And yeah, I imagine the reason that they chose Vancouver is 1) good outdoors environment (most of New Moon takes place outdoors or in indoors places we haven't been yet - aka Billy's house), and more important 2)it's WAY cheaper to film there than it is to film in American. I'm guessing that's the #1 reasons.

I KNOOOOW... i wanna know who will play everyone! Now Now Now! Haha.

And I'm wondering what's going on with filming Eclipse... are they going back-to-back?...changing directors?... I dunno!

Good point on the cost. It's incredibly expensive to film anything here in the States. As for the director, I'd assume it would depend on how New Moon comes out. Of course, it's going to have massive box-office turn out, being the sequel to Twilight and all. Out of all of the characters, I can't wait to see what they make Aro look like. He's described as an incredibly strange looking fellow, so I can't wait to see what they do with his appearance in the film. I wonder if they'll actually go to Italy for the Volutri scenes.

Some of the cast (Kristen for sure, I think others...) have said that they think they are actually going to Italy to do those scenes. That would be great if they did - there's really no way to duplicate that kind of stuff anywhere in the US or Canada.

Sweet! Yeah, even with the insane movie magic we have in today's society, nothing can replace really being in Italy. Sure, they could use a green screen, but that's nothing compared to actually being there. They may have to maya in some of the crowd, unless they can convince thousands of Italians to be in a square at the same time celebrating a holiday, that as far as I know, doesn't exist.

the summit execs even said they are going to film the italy scenes in italy which is why they allocated a bigger budget
