Hi everyone

My name is Aaralyn, I'm 20 and I reside in New York.

I have recently become outrageously engaged with the Twilight series. I have heard about the book months before, but never got around to reading it. It was a few days ago that I bought Twilight and I've been obsessed with it ever since.

I've finished Twilight last night at 4 in the morning, and I've started the first chapter of New Moon this morning. I'm astounded with how beautifully detailed Stephenie Meyer is.

Every time I pick up the book, I feel chills down my spine. I've watched trailers for the coming movie and I've never felt more nervous. Am I just crazy??

Stephenie Meyer was actually at my local Barnes and Noble for the premiere of Breaking Dawn. She was there signing books and such. Unfortunately, I haven't known about Twilight then so I missed my only chance! I'm kicking myself in the leg for it

Anyways, it's great to be here, and I'm very excited to meet other Twilight fans and discuss this amazing story

The same thing happened with me and Eclipse. I got into the series a week after it was released and found out she had been out here for a signing!

Welcome to the home of the happily obsessed. We love having new addicts post, it makes the rest of us feel more normal.

Make sure you check out the Newcomer's Guide. It will help you navigate the site. Meyer's Personal Correspondence is a must-read and I thought the Timeline was really interesting too. Have you already been to her site and read the outtakes, FAQ's and extras? So worth the time.

Welcome! I love your name, so pretty and unique. I got into Twilight just after Breaking Dawn came out, so I missed out on all the fun too

Also, make sure you glance over Alcyone's Newcomer's Guide to the Lexicon 2.0 (The shinier, spiffier version) for rules and regulations, if you haven't already.

It's great for a newcomer to get a start with the rules, and it's a good look-over for returning old members to see if anything's changed, but I don't think much has.
