My name is Jill, and well, obviously, I'm new here!

I picked up my first Twilight book right before Thanksgiving this year and read through the entire saga in less than a week. Stephenie Meyer is a wonderful story teller and I'm always interested in chatting about Twilight, the characters or vampire mythology.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! My internet is apparently down at home, so I missed this thread the entire weekend.

Questionaire...
How did you pick your screen name?
The first messageboard I visited, a good decade ago, is where I met my BFF. She nicknamed me JillyBean and the name JillOBean stuck... so.

How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
That same BFF suggested I read Twilight. I didn't like Breaking Dawn, Eclipse was hard to read... New Moon was heartbreaking but its a tie for favorite with Twilight.

Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
For some reason... I never warmed to Jacob. I like Bella as I think we all found her to be very relatable as a human, but who can resist Edward? He's dreamy in the worst way!

Who is your favorite minor character?
Hhmmm... good question. I suppose Rosalie isn't a minor character... I found myself very intruiged by Leah.

What are your hobbies?
Writing, reading, playing with my dogs and my cat... watching movies.

Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)
I live in New Orleans and I am a Northern California native.

How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)
