How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
Ok... this is going to be an essay... or maybe a full novel!
I first saw the movie Twilight, quite some time after it was released, much as a "well-why-not-check-this-teenage-vamp-film-out" thing, not having very high expectations. I'm a huge Buffy fan, so I thought that maybe I'd like it even though the reviews had made it seem just another half-bad teen movie. And I was surprised, it was much better than I thought it'd be. But not the best movie I'd seen. Some time after that (a couple of months?) I noticed that there was a sequel, currently in theatres. Judging by the movie poster, I did not expect it to be great either (sorry, whoever made that poster...
). But I went, and again I was surprised. Directly after that, I had to re-watch Twilight, I knew there was so much I'd forgotten. And after THAT, well, I just HAD to order the books. But the delivery time was one week, and what to do in that time? The books were not available at the library (looong wating line for those, New Moon's fault). I stumbled upon Midnight Sun, and read all of the published draft, in one night. Didn't make it easier to wait for the books though! When they finally arrived, I finished them all in less than a week. My favourite is Eclipse, followed by New Moon and Twilight. Broken Dawn is just too much... well, non-action time, if you could call it that. The second quarter (Jacob) and the fourth quarter (Volturi) are great, the rest not so great. I don't count Midnight Sun to the list, since it's not finished, but it will probably get quite high in the list once finished! I'm currently re-reading the books, well, almost finished really. It's so addictive!Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
Er... that'd be Edward. Bella is great mostly, but somewhat annoying in Broken Dawn. And Jacob's sweet, but I find the assault kissing too disturbing to like him the most (and yeah, I read the site philpsophy, and I agree, but still).
Who is your favorite minor character?
Wow, this is hard. I guess I don't really have a favourite... well, actually I do, but I don't know if I can count Carlisle as a minor character? Also Alice, Jasper, Seth, Leah, Aro, Marcus, Angela, Mike, Charlie...
