My friend and I recently attended TwiCon 2010 in San Francisco (we had a blast!) and the experience inspired me to want to become more involved with the Twilight community. So hi there, fellow Twilight fans!

How did you pick your screen name? It's my middle name (named after both Grandmas.)

How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite? I started reading the books early last summer (June 2009) when my friends lent me their books. I became instantly hooked on the series. Twilight will always be my favorite, although New Moon comes a close second.

Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob? I like Bella best, because she's human and I can relate to her.

Who is your favorite minor character? Alice is my favorite. She would be a fabulous friend.

What are your hobbies? Reading, writing stories, maintaining 3 blogs, and spending time with my young children

Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!) Bay area, California

How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc) 40's (I'm a mom)

Anything else you would like to share. Yes. My friend and I just started a new family-friendly Twilight blog, and we're looking for other family-friendly Twilight blogs to link to (our kids love Twilight and read our blogs, too.) But it's really hard to find any other blogs like ours. Anyone out there want to be our "blog buddies?"

Thanks!

Hi. I'm Jen

Welcome to the lex, it's a fun place to be! :D

See you around the boards

And if you've never been, I highly suggest visiting Stephenie Meyer's website. She has a lot of fun stuff there like FAQ's for all the books & some outtakes that didn't make it into the final draft of the books.

Alma Marie!!! I'm an older fan too, even older than you! Welcome! You're going to have fun here. If you LOVE Rob Pattinson, come on over to "Adult Theme - Rob's Halfway House" which is in Shady Spot/Flight to Phoenix.

My daughter is in college, so I probably don't need a family friendly blog, but I know there are many people on the Lexicon are the right demographic. Good luck getting it off the ground!

Thanks, guys!

Edwards Ragazza--Yes, I bought my own set of books! When I first borrowed Twilight, I stayed up all night to finish it. Then I borrowed New Moon the next day and finished it, too during the night. When I found out that Eclipse wasn't available yet (another Twi-mom was reading it too slowly!), I tried the public library, but it wasn't available there, either (over 90 holds on the book), so finally I just bought the boxed set from Amazon (with overnight shipping). When my books arrived the next day (it was a very long day), I almost hugged the delivery man for bringing them to me!

I finished the series in two more days, which made the rest of my family very happy (they hadn't seen me in almost a week!)

By the way, I didn't see the Twilight movie until long after I read the books. I enjoyed the books much more than the movie, but I've grown to like the movie in its own way, too.
