Hi I'm Rachel, I'm from Alabama. I'm on my third revolution of the the series and I'm also a fan of the movies. I most recently attended the New Moon dvd 12:01 am release ( after which I had to report to work at 8 am ). Very proud to say I was #14 in line and had a wonderful time with my fellow twilighters. My favorite book is currently New Moon, although I hated it the first time I read it. And now my least favorite is Breaking Dawn. I'm very eager to chat with fellow fans as there are only a few fans (aside from my die hard mother) in my small town.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
I was actually bribed into reading Twilight. It was over the Christmas holidays and I was bugging my mother to play a round of Jeopard the board game with me. So when she broke she told me to read chapter one of Twilight and she'd play 1 game with me. So I scuttled of the my bedroom, to knock it out, being a fairly speedy reader I thought I'd be done in about an hour and then it'd be game on! ....I read that chapter, and then never put the book down. It was like crack, I just couldn't put it down. I'd never read anything in a first person format and it was totally engrossing.
The first time I read the series I prefered them 1,4,3,2. And I didn't even read all of New Moon the first time! I was so enfuriated by Jake's total take over of the series that I just phoned it in.
But after my second resolution, I can see the unspoken Edward perspective in the books. The little movements and reactions I totally looked over the first time, now had new meaning. And it felt like I was reading a whole new series. I then prefered them: 2,1,3,4.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
I'm definitely a Edward fan, I just felt that you can't beat destiny. But I really felt that Jake was trapped in a Good-guys-finish-last scenario
Who is your favorite minor character?
Gotta be Leah, how long's a girl gotta suffer till life ( ok a lil pun intended) throws a girl a bone???
What are your hobbies?
I'm a total bookworm, I have books that I take just to read at work ( I try to leave the ones with graphic images or expletives on the cover at home), one in my purse, one in the bathroom, and then one on my night stand. I like to have a book or a graphic novel within arms reach at all times.
How old are you?
I'm gonna be half of fifty soon
