Ok, so here is my Hello My Name Is.....
My name is Lisa, I am a 32 yr old mother of two, I am a Marine wife, and devoted to Twilight
I came about my screenname, simply because it's the same one I use most everywhere. The less I have to remember, the better lol ....
My favorite character in the saga is Edward because he is so tortured and yet so controlled, although secondly I can say that I can relate to Bella on several levels, if I think back upon my teenage years. I have my best friend to thank for yanking me down this rabbit hole that led to Twilight, and for that I will be forever grateful. I resisted reading the books, simply because I tend to shy away from trendy things. However, I was done reading all my other books, so I then turned to my loaned copy of Twilight. I must admit, I was not sucked in right away. I wasn't even optimistic about enjoying this book, because I had already seen the movie several months prior and wasn't really impressed. But, I am an avid reader and just told myself to give it a chance. Within a week of taking the book seriously I was hooked and in between the 2 kids with the flu, me with the flu, work, dogs, husband, chores, and yada yada, I managed to read all the other books within a 10 time span. It was at this point that I began looking for more, and my friend slowly began feeding me all the information and the links to what I was looking for which was just....MORE. I wanted more. Nothing had ever touched me or affected me in a way that this story has. I immediately went and purchased a copy of the movie and watched it again and again. Suddenly it was all making sense, the looks, the pauses. It WASN'T just another cheesy teen movie, it was magnificent! So this is only month 2 for me of what I now refer to as " my addiction " and I've read some fanfic, downloaded a lot of pics, read and watched tons of interviews , along with downloading the soundtracks, the movie scores, and " The Ultimate Twilight Lullabyes Collection". I could go on and on, and talk about all of the places within myself that Twilight took me both happy and dark, but I will probably sound redundant. What I can say is, Twilight, changed my life, and I look forward to continuing my journey of all things Twilight. I am also quite eager to get into some juicy character dissection and chapter discussions. Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and I look forward to more posting......
