How did you pick your screen name?
It has been the name of my own Vampire character for my stories for years.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
My step-mother from Australia sent me the whole series as a late birthday present. She knew I was really into Vampires and Werewolves and thought I would enjoy them.
I would have to say the first book is my favourite.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
I like Jacob because he reminds me of my male best friend a lot. He is extremely friendly, can cheer anyone up from being in the worst moods, and makes you feel lively when you are around him.
Who is your favorite minor character?
I love Alice Cullen. She has the fun and energetic personality that I would enjoy being around on a daily basis. She also likes fashion and shopping, which I enjoy doing as well.
What are your hobbies?
I read a lot of books, mostly fiction, from sci-fi to medieval. I am not really into romance but the Twilight series is my only exception so far. I also love to draw, I have always been very artistic in pretty much every art style. I practically lived in the art room in high school, working with pastels, watercolors, paint, charcoal, clay, but I am best at pencil and paper. Writing is also one of my favourite past times. I have several little projects going, from a modern fantasy piece to an ongoing medieval fantasy piece I have been working on for years with a friend of mine. I have also been self teaching Japanese for the last 5 years on and off. It is really a challenge teaching yourself a foreign language but I have had a good prep period for myself before I study it at a community college soon. I am also planning on taking up belly dancing with my step mom. She has been doing it for a long time and it is so much fun. Can't wait to start when she gets moved to the states.
Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)
I grew up in a small town (smaller then Forks) in the heart of the Cascade Mountains of WA. It was also a logging town that worked hand in hand with the mining towns 15 miles away. Recently though, I hail from Southern California, about an hour and a half east of LA (no, I haven't met any of the actors or actresses or attended any movie premieres, LA is a nightmare to navigate).
How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)
I am in my early 20's.
Anything else you would like to share.
I wanted to join a Twilight forum with mature fans (for the most part) so I could freely discuses Twilight. My boyfriend has only watched the movies and doesn't read (he can read, he just isn't the book type). It is hard to make conversation with someone who has only watched the movies. I summarized everything that happened in the books when I read them to him so he knows about all the major events that happen, but he just ignores me for the most part. Also, I may be tagged for this one, but I have only read the whole series once, including the novella and the Midnight Sun draft Stephenie Meyer put up on her website. I read them a year ago as of mid July (scary I know) and then lent them to my mother who lives almost 1,100 miles away. She has her own life and studies she tends to daily that kept her busy that she just now recently sat down and read all four books in 3 days and she loves them now too. I can't wait to get my books back to reread them. I was oblivious to the Twilight series until that package arrived at my door a year ago, which is surprising, I usually keep up with new books, especially ones with Vampires in them (although, living in an area where the closest bookstore was nearly a 2 hour drive in both directions over snow covered roads and mountains and having limited internet access, it makes sense. I lived under a rock, literally)! I didn't even know the date the first book was released until I read Wikipedia. If I would've known then what I know now, I wouldn't be kicking myself today and would be even a bigger fan of them now then I am. Well I won't write a life story here so I will end it now, I am a jabber jaw when I talk about myself.
Nice to meet all of you!
