I live in The Ozarks although I'm originally from Iowa. I'm about 30 something. In fact I remember the show "30 Something" which should give you an idea that I'm not in my first flush of youth I'm in my second!
I love to read and have read continuously since I was about 10 or so! I believe reading has helped me keep my imagination sharp. So read! I love Vampires and as a kid every year I was Dracula on Halloween! In High School though I was Lestat or Louis from The Vampire Chronicles, yes the ones written by Anne Rice. Although one year I was Daniel Malloy or the Boy from Interview With The Vampire. I love Vampire Moves and Literature and have read it constantly since I was a kid! I love Classics like Wuthering Heights and Vanity Fair, Far From The Madding Crowd and The Scarlet Letter.
I resisted getting into Twilight although not for too long! A Friend who knows my love of everything that goes bump in the night got me Twilight and that was it! This Series has everything I love about Vampires including some things I would have or did come up with on my own like walking in the Daylight! Dracula did that in Stokers novel as did the vampires of myth and legend, well according to Emily Gerard in Land Beyond The Forrest, and the Reverend R Montague Summers in The Vampire His Kith And Kin, they did. I also love that The TLS is about Teenage Vampires too. Just makes for a Moodier more angst ridden Vampire in my opinion which is always a good thing. Twilight even has the ever winning young ingenue (Bella) which is a classic staple of Vampire fiction!
