We're a group of tourism researchers from three Swedish universities. Except for being researchers during the day, we spend evening and nights reading the books (you'all know which ones
), watching the movies, and reading a ridiculous amount of fanfiction. 
We've taken (like many of you out there) our love and interest for the Twilight Saga into our work life and are currently conducting a, what is hopefully, a two-year long research project on Twilight related travel/tourism and use of social media. So far, we've interviewed fans participating at a fanevent in Sweden earlier this year when Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner visited our capital during the Eclips promotion tour (and yes, we did ran in to them both by accident in case anyone wonders

We hope that all of you will take the time and participate in this survey as we're attempting to understand how much the community travels to participate in Twilight related activities. We believe that the Twilight community is a force to be reckoned with, also in tourism.
This fall, we'll travel to Italy (Volterra and Montepulciano) to interview destination planners and Twilight tourist, and next year, we're planning to conduct studies in the US. Perhaps we'll meet up somewhere along the way on one or many of the Twilight destinations and events?
