How did you pick your screen name?
One of my friends had it as their tumblr url before they changed it to something else and I kinda loved it. Plus I do love Citrus Green Tea. :]
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
I started reading Twilight when I heard there was a movie coming out about it. It was a few days after Breaking Dawn was released and I bought Twilight just to see if I would like it. ...bad move. I ended up going out the same night after finishing the first one and buying the rest of the series and reading all four over a weekend. It was fantastic and I absolutely fell in love with it. I was definitely in the Team Edward slot, bought t-shirts that said it AND the Cullen Track Jacket at Twi-Tour (blue with the Cullen Crest).
My favorite book (at the time) was Breaking Dawn because it had the HEA we were all hoping for. Plus I loved the wedding and Bella choosing to keep the baby. I hated when Jacob imprinted on her though and I just wanted to kick him out of the book. >_<
My least favorite (at the time) was New Moon because Edward left Bella and it was just so depressing. From him actually leaving to her having to save him and almost die. The first time I ever read it I skipped all of the Jacob parts until I read Edward's name again towards the end, then I started reading again.
THEN I got into Fanfiction....
Now I'm more Team Switzerland, 70% Team Jacob and 30% Team Edward.
There are aspects about both guys that I like and I hate but I definitely lean more towards Jacob now. I even bought a wolf-pack shirt and the Wolf Pack Track Jacket from the Twi-Gear company, the same as the Cullen one but brown and with the Wolf Pack Tattoo. It's kinda crazy...
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
Hmm.... that's a hard decision because I'm very torn.
I like Edward in AH stories and in some vampire stories where he's not all controlling and emotionally abusive towards Bella. He's a great character but after reading fanfiction and seeing how he's portrayed with some close similarities to canon I just can't look at him in the same light anymore. Every time he worries over her safety or pulls the plugs on her car or tells her what to say to Charlie, isolating her from her family, it just makes me dislike him and that's part of the reason I haven't read the books in so long. :/ And let's be real, if Bella wasn't his singer and he could hear her mind I don't think they would be together. He became attracted to her for the wrong reasons.
I'm not much of a fan of Bella unless she has more of a backbone than in canon and she actually thinks things through before doing them. Bella in the series just goes with it too much and I don't agree with Stephanie Meyer that there were some things that each character had no control over, and Bella's was her love for Edward while his was turning into a vamp and not being apart from her and Jacob's was turning into a werewolf. That is a stupid reason to get her to stay with him and I honestly believe that if the Cullen's hadn't have come back when they did she would have started a relationship with Jacob and had the human life, which I love to read about.
Jacob. What to add about him? I used to hate him, thinking that he was just an annoying block in Edward and Bella's path to happiness, but, again, after reading fanfiction and seeing Taylor Lautner portray him in the movies I have totally fallen in love with him. I want to have a Jacob for me. Sure he's not perfect because he has a temper, can be sarcastic, sometimes thinks with other parts of his body, but his options and choice to live a human life out-rule all of that. Taylor Lautner completely revolutionized Jacob in my eyes. He made me see that he's not so annoying, that he's simply a teenage boy who has genuine feelings for a teenage girl. I just want to snuggle with him and his toasty self.
Who is your favorite minor character?
Definitely Mike! He's just too funny and provides a smile whenever he's around. He's such a guy, thinking and acting so much like one of my friends does and it cracks me up every time.
Angela comes in a close second. She's so down to earth and I wish I had a friend like that to give me advice and be there for me.
What are your hobbies?
Other than reading and writing fanfiction I like to take pictures. I'm not really awesome at it nor do I have an expensive, massive camera, but I like taking scenic pictures with my Canon Powershot. :]
Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)
The United States, Michigan to be exact. There is so much snow up here and it is butt cold. >_<
How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)
Mid-20s.
