How did you pick your screen name?
I'm a Leah fan, so I decided to base my username off that.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
Back when Eclipse was published and the series became a worldwide phenomenon, I saw loads of girls at school reading the books. Now, I was THE reader of the girls, so I knew I was missing out. I got a bit jealous watching them devour something I hadn't already read. So I asked for the whole series for Christmas.
I haven't read the whole series yet even though I've had the series for over a year. But those first twelve chapters of New Moon were... pretty OK. Especially 5-12.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
Jacob, by the longest chalk you've ever known.
Who is your favorite minor character?
Leah! She rocks! (I'm a Leah/Jacob shipper, just so you know.)
What are your hobbies?
Reading, surfing the Internet, writing, video games, karate.
Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)
New South Wales.
How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)
Nearly in my teens.
Anything else you would like to share.
I am not a fan of the series. I actually hated Twilight. I am also a die-hard reader and I know good literature when I see it. This means I am going to be extremely, extremely critical of the books, especially Twilight, because I've read enough to see their flaws and I'm going to point them out. I'm also very ready to make claims that go against your site philosophy and back them up with quotations from the books to illustrate a point - I've done debating and I know you can't convince somebody of an argument without evidence. I'm not trying to get people to go Anti, like I am, mind. I work on a say what I want to say policy about the media, so I will get sassy. On another site I wrote an incredibly harsh review that I have yet to finish. I will say things that will upset you. However, please remember it from my point as well. I'm an Anti, we are willing to talk about the flaws even if it upsets people. I came here for calm, reasonable discussion about the books. I want to find what it is about this series that made it so popular. That's all. If I do end up being critical of the series and saying things you don't like or are against the site manifesto, sorry. I probably won't stop because I actually enjoy criticising the series. Oh - and I should say, I work on constructive criticism. So you're getting no 'epicfail fanfiction' from me. Epicfail isn't even a word.
Long-winded rant over, just keep it in mind.
