A Fan Of Twilight (Team ?)

Hey there everyone!

I'm obviously new here as I spent the day a few days back looking for good Twilight forums.
I'm really excited that Breaking Dawn is in the process of being filmed...I have a feeling it's going to be the best movie yet.

I have to admit that I have not yet decided what 'Team' I am on; I'm very conflicted. When I read the books it was easy, "Team Edward all the way!", but then I saw the movies. I'm a little bias, as I am a huge Taylor Lautner fan, but after seeing the movies I began switching to Team Jacob. I haven't read the books in a while, so maybe I will have to in order to come to my final descision. What confused me in the first place, however, was that when I saw Taylor's portrayal of Jacob I felt really bad for him...and started to see his side of things. Taylor has done a great job of playing the character...have any of you been swayed due to his performance?

Welcome to the Lex! I'm Kym! I kinda understand what you're saying about the teams! I'm Team Edward because I fell in love when I read Twilight lol! I couldn't stand Jacob when I was reading the books, but Taylor's performance makes it hard for me to hate Jacob! I've been team Edward all the way though so Taylor hasn't completely changed my views of Jacob lol!

Hey. Welcome to the lex!

I am Team Edward & will always be. Jacob in the books bugged the heck out of me (like Bella says in Eclipse.) The books have cemented my stance so stongly that no performance or actor could change my mind. Taylor is great as Jacob & in the movies Jacob's more tolerable. And I don't hate Taylor/hold it against him that he plays a character that I can't stand. But sorry no. The movies, actors, portrayals won't have any affect on my opinion of Edward vs Jacob.

hey im pretty new around here too, hope to see you around the lex.

the funny thing for me is that every one seems to dislike book jacob and find movie jacob more tolerable. I am and will always be team edward, there is just no changing that, but i actually love book jacob. Its movie jacob that bothers me, which seems to be the total opposite of how the majority feels. I can relate to book jacob and he has always held a special place in my heart. Movie jacob just didnt do it for me, and thats not saying anything bad about Taylor, he did a great job, he just didnt hit the mark for me. But anywaysss team edward all the way!!
