... my true home on this planet.

I was so excited to get the email this morning that my registration had been approved, and I've had to wait all day to post (drat that work environment)!
How did you pick your screen name?Hoped no one had picked that already.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?I know this story by heart. A friend recommended it to me this past summer, coincidentally, while we were eating at Burger King while they had the Eclipse promotional toys in the kids' meals (asked for the bracelets for my girls). I never listen when friends recommend books, but I thought maybe I'd try the movie to see if I was interested enough to read the book.
Fast forward to Oct 2010 when I find my husband watching a rental of Twilight without me. I say "you can't watch this without me!", lie down, and become utterly enraptured. Watched it again the next day with my son. Rented New Moon 2 days later and watched it twice too. Saw Eclipse at the theatres with hubby and son on Friday. By Monday, all five Twilight books (incl Bree Tanner) were waiting for me at the library. Finished each in less than 24 hours. Forced myself to wait a WHOLE WEEK (ok, maybe 5 days) before re-reading -- my stomach physically hurt the whole time I wasn't reading. Returned the books to the library and bought the main four Twilight books. In the past few months, I have read them a total of 7 times I think. I want to live in the story.
I can't decide which story I like best. Twilight is the most tender, New Moon is the most painful. Eclipse is very good, start to finish. Parts of Breaking Dawn are my very favorite, but not overall - more at the end of the post.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?Like asking me which family member I like best. But Edward is the most interesting. He's 109 and he's lived 80 years of that thinking 6 times faster than Bella or Jacob.
Who is your favorite minor character? Is Alice really a minor character? Kate is pretty charming too.
What are your hobbies?I am a working mother with four children in elementary school and a Twilight obsession. How much free time do you think I have? I read, watch movies, do family activities. I would love to ski more and I'm starting to get desperate to travel more.
Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)Tucson, Arizona - shouting distance from Stephenie. Loud shout.
How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)Very Early 40's. Very Very Early. Like almost 30's.
Favorite recurring Twilight fantasy:Finding myself parked next to Stephenie at a stop light (hey, it could happen) and holding up whichever Twilight book I'm currently rereading, and rolling down the window slightly while blasting Muse. Never heard of Muse before Twilight - now I like them a lot.
Reason for registering:I have never, never participated in a forum before, so please forgive me if I make newbie mistakes. After reviewing Lexicon daily for a couple months, I had to reach out last night after finishing Breaking Dawn (7th time) and feeling so sad. I've been feeling that way that way the last several times. So I was thinking that in all the other books, Bella has been taking us into Edward's world and bringing him into our world, but now that she has changed - which I really wanted for her, don't get me wrong! - I feel as though they have left me. I feel like Charlie - Bella and Edward might visit, but they may never really share the same world with me ever again. (I know they're fictional.) Can anybody out there relate to this?
