Hi, I'm Freyer

Just wanted to introduce myself. Freyer Ann is my real name, not just a screen name.
I first read Twilight in December 2008, after being annoyed to death by my godchild to read it. I kept telling her I don't read vampire books or watch vampire movies and she kept insisting I would love it. While in Barnes & Noble I picked the book up, walked all over the store, put it back on the shelf. On the way out, I picked it up again and literally said out loud "what the he_ _"! That, as they say, was the beginning of the end.
Never in all my years have I ever been in love with a fictional character!! But Edward Cullen is definitely the exception. I couldn't put the books down and when I saw the movie in January 2009 I was beyond hooked. I couldn't read any other book for at least a year, saw Twilight 13 times in the theater (most of those by myself), went to DVD release parties, watched it over and over and over again! Counted down to New Moon and Eclipse and now waiting for BD Part 1. My computer is full of hundreds of pictures of Edward Cullen and Robert Pattinson and my house is covered with posters, books (3 sets) and dozens of other Twilight related items.
I have all of the movies in BluRay and regular format, and on my iTouch, along with all soundtracks and movie scores! Also have the books on iTouch - so I guess that makes 4 sets!

100% Team Edward
Absolutely adore Robert Pattinson and have seen all of his movies, back to his beginning!

Twilight is my favorite book because it is the development of the love story.

I joined an internet group for older women and we (28 women) are going to Forks for a week in July.

I am almost 70 years old, live in Georgia (originally from New Orleans) and am an avid scrapbooker. I retired from my job one week ago!

Found Twilight Lexicon when I first started searching for all things Twilight and it has always been my favorite site for information!

Welcome to the Lex ! I completely understand what you said about falling in love with Edward Cullen! I feel the same way lol! When I first started reading Twilight I had no idea it would become such an important part of my life, but I'm glad my friend convinced me to read it!

I hope to see you posting around the Lex :)!
