- Good morning everyone! My name is Laurel and as you've probably figured out (seeing as this is the new kid in town forum and all), I'm new to Lexicon. A little bit about me, I am a huge Twilight fan (duh) of the non-Potter convert variety. What does that mean exactly? Well, most of my friends on the net who also enjoy Twilight, discovered it after the Harry Potter series had come to an end and they were looking for something new to fill the void in their life. I am not one of those people. I have always loved vampire novels but when Twilight came out, I was admittedly a little hesitant to read due to all the spoilers I'd heard regarding sparkling.
Anyway, eventually I broke down and fell in love. I've been a Twilighter ever since. I am Team Jacob, but I didn't start out that way. Like most, I was in love with Edward when I first read Twilight, angry at him in New Moon, fell for Jacob during Eclipse and decided I hated Bella around the same time (no offense to those who love Bella). I didn't like Breaking Dawn at first, but over time (after re-reading it) the ending has grown on me -- and I more than anything would love to read a novel from the perspective of Renesmee (or Jacob preferably).
I RP Twilight in my spare time and have for a couple of years now. The list of characters I have played is too long to list here, so I'll just rattle off a few -- Jasper, Emmett, Bella, Embry, and most often Paul. He's my favorite. Apart from Twilight, I am a 20 something mother of one. I have been married for around six years and still going strong. I am a receptionist currently, but my goal is to eventually be a stay at home and be there for my daughter.
