How did you pick your screen name?
I picked it because I fell in love with the side of Jacob that Bella calls "My Jake" - as when she explained to Edward why she kept saying "My Jake" in her dream to differentiate between the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde sides of her best friend - the side that was her personal sun.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
A friend wanted me to see Breaking Dawn Pt 1 with her while she was visiting mainland from Hawaii. I told her I had never seen any of the movies or read the books...long story short....I decided to give them a try and was/am totally hooked! I thought Eclipse was my favorite when I cried through 29 pages of the last few chapters - I love that I was so involved in their world that they touched me so deeply. Then I read BD, at first I wasn't even sure I could get half way through it, let alone finish it. It was just too different, you know what I mean? But I forged on past the mind-blowing concept of a human/vampire pregnancy, changing to Jacob's POV from Bella's etc., and I could hardly put the book down. With all of the happy endings and Bella saving everyone, etc. Breaking Dawn took over as my favorite.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob? Jacob, but I truly love Bella and came to love Edward after I stopped seeing him as an arogant control freak and saw him as the amazing "man" that he was.
Who is your favorite minor character? Hmmmm....Alice, Seth, Charlie...Alice probably wins this one.
What are your hobbies? reading, watching movies, time with loved ones doing whatever makes us happy, cooking, eating, gardening
Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!) Indiana
How old are you & Anything else you would like to share.? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc) I am 40yrs old and soooo sad that I came to know these wonderful books so late. I was just never a vampire fan and shunned all romance stuff, especially teen romance. I am so glad I came to my senses and saw the (Twi)light!
Thanks for reading and letting me join your world so late in it's creation - Helen
