Many years ago (or at least, it feels like that), I thought that participating on the internet as a person in my 20's meant that I should sound like I was an adult and didn't pick any fun names. I chose a mash of all of my names (Melissa +middle +maiden + married) I now see the folly of those ways, but I'm known in HP already as MLWL and decided it may as well follow me here. I WAS Nora before the Lex crashed, but I found that confusing as my name is not... I had just picked Nora because I had re read Ibsen that day.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
I had been ogling Twilight since it first came out; that cover just looked deee-lish. But I have bad luck with the books I grab off of shelves - they always seem to suck. So I didn't get it. And then New Moon came out and the back cover of it just... seemed so cheesey. I wasn't interested. And then a student couldn't say enough about it. So I finally picked them up right after I had devoured the last Potter. Twilight is still my favorite for that fatalistic, head-over-heels love story, but I like them all for different reasons.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
Um...? Edward? I just want to eat him up. But I love them all.
Who is your favorite minor character?
Minor character... loose definition, I guess... I am intrigued by the Volturi. I kind of have a hart time determining who is a minor character in the series because even the smallest ones can be SO important in Stephenie's work!
What are your hobbies?
Reading a TON, editing, crafting like crazy. I'm on The Leaky Cauldron for too much of my day, but I just adore it. Singing and playing musical instruments. I did SMALL pro theater when I lived in South Carolina, but I live in too small of a town right now to do that.
Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)
Ohio. South-Central-ish. But you're just as likely to find me somewhere else - I LOVE to travel!

I'm married. I've been a teacher for the past 6 years, but I'm going to graduate school (start Monday!) full time this year. My Twi-Love has been expressed in the past year by attending both the NYC and Chicago events (AMAZING both times) and creating StephenieSays, which is in desperate need of updates.
