I'm not that interesting...

How did you pick your screen name?

There's no real story behind my screen name. I was thinking of following the trend I saw through the discussion boards, and name myself something like, "edward_love" or "jacob_i_heart_you", but I decided to go with something a little more conventional. My screen name is my first name and my nickname combined.

How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?

I saw the trailer for the movie, and I when I realized it was Robert Pattinson I thought to myself, "Cedric Diggory!" I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so seeing him in the movie peaked my curiousity. I went online to learn more about the movie, and discovered that it was based on a book. I then realized that there was so much hype surrounding the saga, and I wanted to know what the hype was all about, and if it was justified. I picked up Twilight, read it, and have been hooked, or should I say "obsessed", ever since.

My favorite book is "New Moon". I just loved reading and seeing the character progression. You really discover who these people are, the depth of their personalities, and what they really are like.

Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?

It's a love, hate relationship, but I like Edward best. I love him because of who he is... just so chivalrous in nature, but also hate him because I wish he existed :x He's just way too perfect! All of them are equally amazing though. They all have a level of self-sacrifice that no human could ever possess.

Who is your favorite minor character?

Seth Clearwater. He holds no bias or prejudices against people, and sees them for who they are and their individual worth. An admirable trait.

What are your hobbies?

Cook, clean, sing, dance, and act. My goal is to make it on the set of a Twilight movie as a background actor.

Where are you from (general area like Montana, not exact town!)

I'm from a rock in the middle of the ocean, also known as Honolulu, Hawaii.

How old are you? (In general, like teen, 20's, 30's, 40's etc)

I'm in my early 20's, but I feel like I'm 30. *gasp*

Anything else you would like to share.

Nothing really. Oh, even though it's so cliche to say this, I have to throw in an aloha somewhere as well. so, ALOOOOOOOOOOOOHA! In otherwise, hello, and nice to meet all of you :D

Hi Nikie! I'm Sophie! =)
I like to sing too! I wish I could cook, but yeah...won't go into details. Hahaha.
AHHH! Hawaii! I want to go there! I never really cared too, but then I saw this TV show where this one famous dude went to Hawaii to see his family and there was this little mountain thing or whatever that blew REALLY strong winds. It looked fun. =D
Anyways, nice meeting you!

Hey Sophie! Thanks for replying to my mundane post :P Hawaii is really a lovely place... for visitors. If you've lived here all of your life, you start to feel a bit claustrophobic. After I finish my masters degree, which is in a year, I'm moving off of the rock, and maybe to Washington. Haha.

I had no idea that the world of Stephenie Meyer was this HUGE! I have never even heard or knew of the books until I saw preview the for Twilight in the theaters. After reading all four books, you can't help but be sucked in yourself. I agree with you when you say that there is so much to read and enjoy through the discussion board. It's fun and interesting to see what people's thoughts and and perceptions are. I just hope I can keep up! Four generation family of fans... that's INCREDIBLE! You all share a common interest with one another. :) That's fun!
