How did you pick your screen name?
My screenname actually came from a poem I wrote last summer; after repeating "Moonpetal Lily" stanza after stanza, I realized I liked the ring to it.
How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite?
I picked it up (paperback...don't I regret that now) in Borders because it had started cropping up in my school. That was April '07.
Who do you like best: Edward, Bella, or Jacob?
Edward, totally.
Who is your favorite minor character?
I have trouble picking favorite minor characters, but I relate to Angela the most.
What are your hobbies?
Reading, anime/manga, randomness...

Northeast US

Welcome to TwiLex. I'm Danney. So you're one of those people that just happened to get sucked in by the Twilight trend. For me it was quite the opposite. When I began bringing the books to school to read my friends began asking me about it and they ended up reading the books themselves. Then other people saw them reading it and decided to read it too. Twilight is a fast growing epidemic that has no remedy except to be treated with more Twilight.
What manga series are you a fan of?

Yeah, I picked up before it was huge-huge, only the readers knew it, but since that's who I hang out with...^_^
I like Naruto, Vampire Knight, FMA, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Tsubasa among others...you?

Fruits Basket, Bleach, Descendants of Darkness, Shutterbox, Naruto, Card Captors Sakura, Negima, and Tsubasa.
I used to really be into Anime in my middle School years. Now, they are more of just things to past the time with. Light reading perhaps.

I'm working on Bleach right now; that and xxxHolic. Yeah, I'd call it light reading... Even if I go to bed really late, I can usually finish a volume before falling asleep. Admittedly, that's during the summer...

Also, make sure you glance over Alcyone's Newcomer's Guide to the Lexicon 2.0 (The shinier, spiffier version) for rules and regulations, if you haven't already. 
It's great for a newcomer to get a start with the rules, and it's a good look-over for returning old members to see if anything's changed, but I don't think much has.

Welcome to the home of the happily obsessed. We love having new addicts post, it makes the rest of us feel more normal.
Make sure you check out the Newcomer's Guide. It will help you navigate the site. Meyer's Personal Correspondence is a must-read and I thought the Timeline was really interesting too. Have you already been to her site and read the outtakes, FAQ's and extras? So worth the time.
