Okay, I had a really awesome avatar which my friend made for me, but one day (before the new Lexicon, it was still on the old one) it just disappeared. I'm kinda confused why that happened, but mainly what I want to know is: I still have the cropped version of the avatar I was using. The problem is, it no longer has a URL link, because it's saved on my computer in some weird form, or if it does have a URL address, where can I find it? It's saved in a format where I can edit it any time I want. If I can't use that one, how do I crop pictures? I'd really like an avatar, but I don't know how to make one, because my friend did it last time, but she forgot how she did it. Help please?

If you just upload it to any photo site (i.e. photobucket.com) & it will produce a URL for you. - If you have it online or on photobucket already & its not cropped, I can tell you how to use the photobucket editor or do it for you.

You can also upload it to
Imageschak and when it gives you a direct url you put it on your profile and it should appear

You can make simple avatars by cropping & resizing a picture. - I use a combo of Paint (the basic program on almost every computer) & photobucket.

Ah. Please help. I'm trying to get the pic off of

i tried that and it said "Image file type mismatch: expected extension png but extension jpg given" and i have no idea what that means
