On your User Control Panel, select Profile --> Edit Signature and in the box you'll see you have to put this url :
http://i36.tinypic.com/34pc9qp.jpg between the IMG code

Is my avatar showing up??? I can see it in my posts, but I participated in the "rate the avatar" thread and could see my avatar, but everyone seems to be unable to see it, telling me it's unreadable. nothing to read - it's a picture. I uploaded it from one of those shrink-your-pic-for-avatar sites and it seemed to be working...am I doing something wrong??

Liz, your avi looks great! The system should let you know immediately if you used the right link, I used a direct link.

Sorry, I don't understand.
Are we all supposed to come up with our own images for avatars and banners etc, or just steal everyone elses stuff?
Sorry if its a silly question, but I'm a little muddled. lol.

You can go on photobucket, tinypic, or any website that has banners and avatars and upload an image that is available for anyone to use. You can also make your own images. And if you see an image that you'd like to use that is not on an open-access site like photobucket, you can always ask the owner for permission to use the image. If you have any issues with uploading, let me know- I'd be glad to try and help

Im working on making some new icons/banners, but Im trying to make them move like .gif format. It says to cut down your videos to make it, you need to use Movie Maker.
My question is 'Can you open mp4 or files that are not wmv files in Movie Maker?'
Help is much appreciated.
