My hair is really funny as far as how it looks and I think that's because I've let it grow out. There are times when it will lay down just fine and I won't have a problem running a brush through it, but there are other times when I have to pull and tug to get past one strand and even after that it doesn't look good and I know I have to put it up in a pony tail. A lot of it has to do with how well I dry my hair after I take a shower. For some reason, it's super sensitive to water and if I don't dry it, it will turn out being a curly, fuzzy mess and hard to brush. So if it's even the least bit damp when I go to bed it comes out a mess. I hate dealing with it, but I love having long hair, so I do my best just to live with it.

I feel the same about short hair. I used to want long hair but then I read Twilight and found my twin Alice looked like me except had shorter hair so now I'm through with long hair and keeping it short.

I cut my hair about a year ago to my chin. But I didn't like it, so I'm letting it grow. It's about to my shoulders now. Strangely for me, it's easier to have long hair than short hair. With short hair, it curls up in a funky way, so I have to straighten it. But with long hair I never did. And since I shower at night, I just let it air dry instead of blow drying it, so it's not like long hair is an inconvienence with that. I really want my hair to be long again!!

When I was younger, my mom would have my hair cut all the time. It didn't bother me then but when I saw how pretty and long the girls at my old school had their hair I wanted mine to grow out so badly. Now looking back at my old pictures, I feel awful about letting her get my hair cut. I looked like a boy in a girl's uniform. I feel like burning those pictures! That's another reason why I don't cut my hair: I never want to look like a boy again.

Yeah, I think I looked like a boy when I got my hair cut. Which is why I'm growing it out again. Urg, it's frustrating waiting for it to grow!

I sheared about 12 inches off three months ago, and all of it's back already. lol.

It depends on how short you got your hair cut and how long it takes for your hair to grow. Mine took years for it to get where it's at and you can see the slow growth from my third grade picture and up. Right now it's to the middle of my back and that's as long as it's going to get due to heredity. Some of the girls at my old school, though, had their hair as long as to their knees causing them to constantly where it up in buns. I'd like my hair a little longer but not that long!

I love my hair! it grows really fast too! I could NEVER cut it short!
