Honestly! Why wouldn't they just give Edward the role? And turn it into like a mini biography..or something..
Why cast some nowhere-good-enough actor to play Edward when you have the perfect one right there?

I actually thought about Edward playing the role himself, but that doesn't seem Edward-y to me, like he wouldn't do it. He wouldn't want to pretend that Kristen was Bella and have to act like she was and stuff. He'd rather be with the real side of things.
