I live in Sunny LA. And we get fires at least once every two years.

Here where I live, we don't get any hurricanes, well duh! I'm in utah, no ocean!
And we don't get many earthquakes, except some very small ones, but we are supposed to gear up for another earthquake in the next few years.
We do get a lot of wild fires and blizzards though.

Well in Utah, we get really really really dry and hot in the summer, and in the winter it gets extremely cold!

we dont have that much variation in *sunny* north east england... its freezin all winter n is always raining or windy then in summer its hot for about a week then its cold again.. it must be around 4 yrs since we had a decent summer

It's not raining today .. which is a first. Still cold though
