I agree, I think it depends on how mature you are. I'm fourteen, and personally, I think I would have "gotten" it around 12 or 13, because I'm good at dissecting literature, and people have always called me mature. I know some people in my grade who aren't mature enough to read the books, they would just gush about Edward, like you guys are saying.

Does it bother anyone here when people think they are the BIGGEST fans and only recently read the book/s because of the movie or *shudder* even worse, only saw the movie? No offense to anyone here, but....

^^ OME yes it annoys me to NO END when people talk about being such huyUGE fans when they've only seen the movie!! I'm like um HELLO!?!?! YOU ONLY KNOW 1/4 OF THE STORY POSER!! *gasps for air* It really irritates me. As you can probably tell

But they never seem to know it properly but think they do..And they always get EVERYTHING worng and you're just sitting there going: No. No that's not right. Nup. Wrong. It was this.. and such..

It annoyed me so much that they didn't mention Jasper's power AT ALL the ENTIRE movie. I thought that was a pretty important detail that should have been includd.

I know! It's used a lot in the later books and it's pretty significant in Eclipse, with the newborns and such, and his backstory.

Ahhhh yes now THAT is a fan! And of course, like we've said before, if you actually UNDERSTAND it. And you're not just in it 'cuz Edward's hot. Bonus points if you discuss the books and characters on a Twilight forum.
