I think the poll was my idea as well and Emmaline said she'd put it up on the website... Hopefully it should clear things up a bit!

Talking of jobs and promotions, how do we get promoted? Is it all through questions, and how many do we have to answer? I can't remember if it was posted or not, but I don't think I heard about it if it was. :?

Alice would not win for just ONE Oscar - she is too talented. So I think she would most definitely win for best Costume Designing, best Art Direction, best Set Design. Best Director, because only she can direct the best parties and events. :D

Jenna, I completely agree with you! If Alice were to win an Oscar it would HAVE to be for costuming. Though, maybe it could also be for hair and makeup.

Now, because we have a new thread and no one is going to want to go back to the old thread to find out what's going on, here's a rundown of what's going on with the new party we're planning:

The party we've just started talking about is going to be toward the end of March (more planning time and it's about a month from our last party, so the timing seems appropriate). So far the dates suggested are the 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. A poll is being taken on the APPC forum, so please make sure you cast your vote over there for which day you’d prefer.

We're having a red carpet-themed party (not Oscar-themed) (I think that's been firmly decided), to celebrate the US release of the Twilight DVD :!: :D (think of it as a sort of "movie premiere theme.") As far as dress-code for the party, it is still being decided whether we are wearing costumes inspired by movies, or if we’re going with regular clothing—either formal or casual. What do you all think?

We are ALSO celebrating Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi's birthdays.

AND the starting of New Moon's FILMING!!! Ah! Yay!!!!

In the next several days (I think) one of our AMAZING host or hostesses is going to post a new thread in the APPC Forum where we can vote for who should receive what awards. So, be on the lookout for that because everyone should vote!!!

We’ve been getting some AWESOME suggestions for decorations/party favors/cocktails (THANK YOU Jessica and FLM!), but if you’re a shopper or caterer keep the ideas coming!!!

I think that *about* covers it. If you have any questions, just ask! And if you have any suggestions, good! That’s your job! Lol. :lol:

Wow! Thank you, Jolynn for that monster recap. :D

I believe we can do formal wear for when the awards are being announced. Then when we go to celebrate Edi, Kellan and the filming of New Moon, we can change into our regular clothes. ;)

I already made a Red Carpet award nomination thread in advance. But I'll edit it once we get a complete list.

Also, it was suggested that we hold one for best dressed as well. The competitors would send their outfit in advance and we will vote who is the best dressed!
