"Afton, please", "Stop this, you love them. You don't want to hurt them. Think of what would happen to you if you attacked them, what would happen to Rose, what it would do to her.", "Think of Celia", "What would it do to her, if you hunted her friends?" Afton heard all of these stuff, he opened is eyes, he realized that he cannot control himself, he needed help. "Help me Ana." He pleaded. Tears started to run down to his cheeks, "I'm sorry..I...I can't control...I" He didn't continue his sentence and started to run away from the castle to his hiding place, the springs.

"Well I'll have to go back," she sighed. She didn't want to but knew she had to. "I don't want any other family memebers even pretending to be under his control."

She stood and put the gloves back on. She was now in full black once more. She flexed her hands in the gloves. Seh was ready. "War starts soon," she said. "I want everybody ready for a fight to remember."

The soft melodies of eras gone past (and some recent ones) filled the room with soft and sultry crooning. Rose hummed along to the music. Going with the melodies or harmonizing with her favorites.

She rolled onto her stomach and began tracing the grooves between the stones. The music was making her feel better but she knew her exit had been quite childish. Her main motivation was to just not do anything weird. She knew she should return to her family and to reality. There were many issues to be taken care of and Rose could hardly leave them at a time like this.

However all she could do was grimace at the open door to her studio. It stood there - an arching oaken bully taunting her with the reality she didn't believe herself capable of dealing with anymore. Her studio was peaceful. People were always happy and carefree here. The outside world was different. She wondered if it was the room or the people in it. Maybe it was simply the past time; dancing was very often an expression of joy or happiness. Needless to say, she hadn't been dancing much recently.

Jane was leaving in order to protect the family and give us a chance to prepare for the fight.
"War starts soon," Jane said. "I want everybody ready for a fight to remember."

"We'll fight our hardest to win and get you and Alec back," Nora responded.
"Don't worry too much, we will make sure we are completely prepared" she reassured Jane

*Jane told the room she was fine and hugged Celia. Celia smiled, hoping this okay-ness lasted. Then she mentioned a game of pretend.*
"Pretend.....you guys play pretend? I don't get it......"
*She wondered if it was some kind of code or something that she, being too new, didn't know. Just then, she heard Afton and Ana again downstairs. And then Afton running away. The springs.*
"Excuse me for a moment," she said to the group.
*She darted out of the castle and into the forests.*
"Afton? Afton? Where are you?" she said as she ran.

"Afton" Ana cried, but Celia was already running after him.
Thank god, he stopped. He resisted, for her Ana smiled. He must really love her
Ana was heading towards her room to take a shower when she heard others in the bell tower. She heard news of a battle
She ran up to see what was going on.
"Hi" she smiled quickly.
"A battle, are we ready yet?"

Santiago ran away, after Celia.
He saw her stop at Afton and Ana and ask, "A battle? Are we ready?"
Santiago hopped in and grinned.
"Hey! Well I for one am! My power will come in handy." Santiago winked. Oh god, he was acting like Felix!

Ana hugged Santi.
"I'm so happy for you" she grinned.
Oh crap as she looked down.
Some of the blood from her dress had rubbed off onto Santi.
"Sorry" she said sheepishly. "I've just smushed blood onto you, I really do need a shower, everytime I go to have one something pops up.
LIke this battle, are you sure we are ready, I mean, I don't have much practice in hand to hand contact, and if Dantes power is so great, her coul;d probably sense my presence, so my invisability is pretty useless."
She looked to Jane.

Rose sighed and rolled onto her back. Time to return to the family, she thought. She stood up and walked nervously to the door, like she was approaching someone in embarrassment. Once again, she couldn't bring herself to leave.

"This is ridiculous," she said, "At this rate you're going to have to have someone come up and physically remove you." She sat back down in the doorway and leaned against the jamb. She chuckled and put her head on her knees, "And now you're talking to yourself. Excellent."

Why was she having a sudden incompetency moment? Why couldn't she face reality like she'd always done - for the past couple hundred years? If she was being honest with herself, she knew the answer. She'd never formed any attachments in the past. Relationships were based solely on need, survival or personal gain. That wasn't to say she was unkind, but she simply never bonded with anybody because she actually cared for them.

The Masters waived the punishment for her war crimes with the stipulation that she would join their coven and remain loyal. She assumed it was simply the next step of her life. She never thought she'd arrive here and befriend these people. The human-like way in which they lived in concert with their time spent together was the most 'normal' way she lived in a while.

She'd formed bonds with these individuals without even realizing it. Sabin had beat her emotional wall into oblivion and the realization of her attachment to her family nearly crushed her. She was finally afraid to lose someone and that fear outweighed her fear of anything else.

Great, she thought, Now that I care for people - now that I'm seemingly normal - any warrior capabilities I had have gone to pot? Terrific. Somehow she'd have to turn the fear of loss into the will to defend it. She was going to have to talk to somebody about this.

Jane left the room fora moment. She had hard something and wanted to see what it was. If it iwas Alec she was screwed. If Dantes came to get her it would be hell. So she went to make sure it wasn't them.

She found Rose in the hall. Her head down on her knees looking somewhat defeted. Jane laughed slightly, solftly as well. She leaned against the wall and smiled. She knew what rose was feeling. "Rose I know what you are feeling," she sighed. "We all do. The fear of never seeing someone again, never saying goodbye." She shrugged. "The feeling never goes away. It numbs a little bit but never goes away." She looked up but then looked back at Rose. Absientmindly she ran a hand through her hair. "I'm not going to say this to anyone else but you. I'm scared that we have lost Alec for good. I'm scared that Sabin won't come back. I'm scared that no one will. But mostly I'm scared that Dantes will take over." With that she was still.
