Caryn, the fact that you carry around your Rob GQ, ready to heal the blind at a moment's notice, has me officially  my backside off. And it just makes me love you even more! LOL

Pammy(?) - wow you got it on with a blonde John Travolta AND a (kind of) Matthew McConaughey? And produced Rob-a-like sons?! You are one lucky duck.

Kristiner, that Marcus and Bobby video was so adorably hilarious! They are so cute with their accents. I love how they call chips, "crisps" And OMG I totally thought the same thing when Pammy was singing "Age of Aquarius"!! Picturing Paul Rudd dancing around shirtless and Steve Carell singing in bed.

Ok so I was looking at stuff on YouTube and although it's not Rob, it's a totally cute Bobby Long encounter. I swear I'd faint if I got that message, and I'd forever curse myself for not picking up the phone!!! And I sporking love him. Seriously. Give me Rob, TomStu, and Bobby for just one day please. Altogether. The four of us. One big happy naked party. Even an afternoon really. I'm not picky. 8-)

I love how we have his wardrobe memorized and immediately spot when he gets something new! It's like, totally a girlfriend thing, ya know? "Oh honey, you got a new shirt. I... um... like it!" :D

I saw Twilight for the second time and I actually enjoyed it a lot more than the first time I watched it. The first time round I was too critical and comparing it to the book etc. all the time but second time round I actually enjoyed the film for what it is and noticed little sayings and expressions Rob does that I didnt notice first time round. I didnt give him enough credit orginally for how he played Edward and I wasnt sure whether he was the right guy for the job but im converted now. He did a brill job and I cant wait to see him in the next films.

I watched the extras with my Twilight DVD too and didnt realise how much of a talented piano player he was. I could watch his sexy fingers/hands on the piano keys for hours! From the interview sections, comic con etc. Rob seems so shy and doesnt know how to cope with all the screaming fans and attention which is very endearing and sweetm bless him.

Good morning, everyone! It's afternoon here, but I'm adjusting to the timezone most of you are in :D
JulieM wrote: Trine-Thanks! I love listening to Rob laugh. And you really get to see another side of Rob and Kristen that an interview doesn't allow. They seem like really fun people.

I was laughing at your fingernail comment.
They do seem very funny in the commentary. So much more relaxed and just having fun.
BTW, I hate nails almost as much as I hate feet...I can't stand feet

Kristiner - Yes, I loved the shirtless video too. I watched it 3 times in a row....

David - my weekend was lazy too...I have such a terrible sun burn from sitting down by the sea in the sun. It is really killing me today.

funkidiva (sorry, I had your name in my mind 2 secs ago, and now it's gone  ) - I totally agree with you. The first time I saw Twilight, I was...disappointed. I compared everything to the book, and it failed on most aspects. But now I like it more. I have quit comparing it, and I take the moments that I love and I'm happy for those. I remember saying in my review over on "I didn't like it": "Rob was an okay Edward" So I have done a 180 from my second viewing and onwards. Rob was not okay, he was absolutely unbelieveably amazingly perfect for the part!!
Oh, the piano...He looks so great sitting by a piano. I could listen to him sing and play forever. I love his voice too.
Piano..
Ashely - Great point about his smile in the cafeteria. The first time I saw the movie, I was thinking: WOW, that's from MS!

Ok Trine's comment about the smile in the cafeteria just gave me the urge to say something.
A few people have said that this smile is from MS, but that's not exactly true. In Twilight, Bella observes that after Jessica's comment about none of the girls being good enough for Edward, she looks up and sees him turn his head away but his cheek looked lifted - as if he were smiling.

Twilight, page 22:
  • "That's Edward. He's gorgeous, of course, but don't waste your time. He doesn't date. Apparently none of the girls here are good-looking enough for him." She sniffed, a clear case of sour grapes. I wondered when he'd turned her down.

I bit my lip to hide my smile. Then I glanced at him again. His face was turned away, but I thought his cheek appeared lifted, as if he were smiling, too.
Ok, that's all. :)

Yeah, you're right, Mandy. I forgot about that part in Twilight. How, is a mystery to me. I've read that book so many times I practically know it by heart. I can't remember how that's described in MS at the moment...It it's mentioned at all? Haven't read it in a while. But anyway, thanks for clarifying!

Siobohan and Trine~I didn't read the books until after I saw the movie as I basically saw ti just to see what all the hype was about. So I didn't compair it at all. All I saw was Rob and I kept thinking "Its Cedirc! That guy who played Cedric! I knew he would be a great actor some day!" lol. Then I went home and ordered all the books off amazon because Wal*Mart was out (boo!) and we don't have a book store. And because I wanted to read it right then I went online and found SM's site and read MS. Then I went back to the theater the next night and saw it again....and MS was fresh in my mind so I noticed all the little things Rob did from MS.

Mandy~I saw that phone call vid a long time ago, but I forgot about it, so thanks for posting it! Yeah, he smiles in Twilight too, but its because in MS he is reading Jessica's mind. And Bella thinks he is smiling, but she wasn't 100% positive on that. So, I always just say its from MS.

Wow, when did we start talking about more serious stuff than how hot Rob is?

And....have you all seen the newest New Moon poster?

and because we have been talking more about The Brit Pack I shall post this. :D

Mmmm, I love a challenge! :D Here it is from MS:

This is Edward 'hearing' Jessica talk to Bella, of course...

That's Edward. He's gorgeous, of course, but don't waste your time. He doesn't date. Apparantly none of the girls here are good-looking enough for him." She sniffed.
I turned my head away to hide a smile.

Monday Morning Greetings to Everyone~

It's raining here in fair Indy...AGAIN. I swear, I hate this kind of weather. It goes from walking through warm butter hot and humid to downpouring torrential rain and thunderstorms and back again. And, the rain never cools it off. It just makes it bloody hotter. BLECH!!!!!!!

Okay, weather rant over.

Kristiner~ Yes, last night's total immersion in the RobSea was quite lovely. All warm and moonlighty and.. umm....*Caryn's eyes go all unforcused as her mind wanders* Ummm, where was I? Oh, hubs bet. Right. God bless the hubs. Though he was mean and evil in making that torturous bet with me, he made up for it by printing out a copy of the NewMoon poster and writing "You Win" across the bottom. Apparently, "You Win" means I get to go to the midnight showing of NewMoon unfettered by hubs or kids and with girlfriends if I so choose. I knew there was a reason I married that man .

Mandy~ I always have a bit of RobCrack with me. I have most of my photos backed up on a flash that is always in my purse. But, an actual magazine is so much easier to whip out at a moments notice. See, that's why I love it here so much, and love the people here so much. Most people would just look at the fact that I carry around pictures of a man not my husband nor related to me in anyway but who is in fact a superstar of epic proportions as kind of sad and in need of help. But, here and with you all, it is not only normal and accepted, it is celebrated. *clutches hands to chest and does best Sally Field* You Love Me!!! You Really Love Me!!!! 8-)

FunkiDiva~ I am a bad bad woman as I cannot at the moment recall your given name. But, yes, Twilight is definitely a film for which your love grows proportionately to your number of viewings. I think it has a lot to do with all of the "hidden Edwars" that you catch each time you view it. And, I think the more subtle book connections keep coming out and coming out. It's kind of like the whole "I love you" thing and noticing that they do in fact say I love you, or at least Robward does, and just being so drawn in by the performaces that the love just grows and grows. At least that's my opinion.

Trine~ Rob in front of a pianois a gift of epic proportions. Rob playing and signing at a piano is my heaven on Earth. The things that man can do in the realm of music make me weak.

As for "the smile" in DHN, it is one of the reason's I actually loved Rob in his portrayal as Edward so fast. I was transfixed by the hottness, of course, from the moment you spot him walking along the path to the doors outside. And, as he walks through the door, just, ummmm......words failing....still. But, the smile when Jessica Stanley starts talking about Edward Cullen. It is an immediate clue as to just how much work and effort he put into the role. He's just bloody brilliant. And, just for reference, here's how it is described in DHN;
"It used to be nearly impossible to escape her constant, ridiculous daydreams. I'd wished, at the time, that I could explain
to her exactly what would have happened if my lips, and the teeth behind them, had gotten anywhere near her.
That would have silenced those annoying fantasies. The thought of her reaction almost made me smile." (DHN, P.5)

And further on, when Bella actually asks about, "the one with the reddish-brown hair."

"I turned my head to hide my smile. Jessica and her classmates had no idea how lucky they were that none of them part-
icularly appealed to me." (DHN, p. 8)

I do so hope that SM gets around to finising DHN. I know we're not supposed to beg. But, I've already given away every ounce of pride I have to AG begging for chapter 50 and the epi. What's a little more pride given to SM in begging for DHN?

Hope you all have a happy Monday. Hearts and Hugs.

EDIT: Pammy~ you and I were coposting. Hahahahahaha!!!

Oh, I love me some rain!! Any kind of rain, I'll take it!! Light drizzle...all the way to a heavy downpour full of lightening and thunder!! Even just plain overcast days make me smile. :D I understand your disgust of the humidity though...that I could do without!

I'm right there with ya, Sister! I recently purchased a new printer and with it came a free 20 picture photo album from snapfish. Sooooo, rather than filling the album with pics of the kids or the hubs....I....um....selected my absolute favorite pics of my honey and yours! Selecting only 20 was probably the hardest thing I have EVER had to do! Hmmm...Harder than childbirth?? Um...Yeah! Even harder than that!! They arrived in the mail the other day and I could only imagine the person who was printing them off at the snapfish facility......*rolls eyes*..."Hey Jack...look at these....we got another one!! I don't get what these chicks see in this dude!"
Okay, Wow! I have never seen this before! AWESOME!! Thank you Caryn! Does anyone else notice between 1:10 and 1:19 his hands look like ....spiders! :o Sorry to whomever said they don't like HA cuz of the spiders!!! :D
Jazz Girl wrote:Pammy~ you and I were coposting. Hahahahahaha!!!
Hahaha! Yes, well, I knew that I would not be the only one finding the spot in DHN (sorry, I misspoke earlier! forgive me! ) so I kept mine short! That's the only reason I beat you to the punch! ;)

I agree! I have had  my share of good-looking men! I met the Travolta one in high school--he was one of the states (Hawaii) top High-Jumper's. Ooooh that body was ALL muscle! Yummy! I couldn't help but get preggers with him!! :D Now, at the time, of course I didn't compare him to Johnny, but I see it now as he's aged.
The Matt look-a-like--I saw the resemblence almost immediately, cuz they are both from Texas. Their voices are almost IDENTICAL!! It was a very steamy love affair because of that!!

I did not go to work today - I have the di-di. Funny thing about that is that I don't really mind - because I feel fine other than having to make a loo run every half hour or so, which isn't really appropriate for work. I think it was the chicken tikka masala I made last night... :?

Anyhoo...so I took advantage of that by hunting down a favorite interview on youtube. Cute! Julie finally reciprocates with the robcrack. There is some handporn towards the end, too.

e-daughter1 - here is your ICON!

I did something stoopid this morn. I had put "sticky paws" on teh windowsill where my cats used to jump up and eat my plant and then puke it up on the floor. For those who don't know...it's basically like double-sided tape, so that if they jump up there, they go "oh gross" and then jump back down. But...I no longer have a plant there because I killed it. So I tried using "Goof Off" to remove the sticky...but it caused all of the paint to bubble up off the windowsill as well, and now the sticky/paint has coagulated into a gobby mess on the windowsill. So...I am lexing and avoiding it. Cheers!
