Jane listend to Joha. "I'm not sure that is the best idea," she sighed. "I wouldn't tell the Masters."

Jane was temepted to give her a hug. She didn't know much about her past either. She just knew littel flashes. She remembered being burned at the stake with her brother then darkness. Pain. The normal. "I don't know much about myself either."

Joha could see that Jane could empathize completely.

"Oh, ok. Would the masters not want me to know, about myself I mean," Joha asked.

"I mean, if they don't allow it, I would have to do it secretly. How would I do that? I mean, what excuse could I use?"

Jane looked down no wanting to meet her eyes. "The master wouldn't want you to go to the humans and ask questions," she sighed. It was the truth. The Master always frowned apon it. Jane had wanted to go ask but Aro wouldn't allow it. He told her almost everything but she wanted to knwo her last name. He souldn't tell her that.

"You can't do it in secret," she looked back up at Joha. "Aro would find out and punish you."

Joha looked down as well.

"Oh," she said. "I, well. I don't know what to say. I'm sorry he wouldn't tell you your last name."

Joha didn't know what to do. Finding out who she was, it was the only thing keeping her going.

"I guess I understand. I wouldn't want to anger the masters," she said without much enthusiasm.

Johanna knew what she had to do. She would have to leave. Maybe once she found out who she was, she'd come back.

But not now. She'd wait for a while, she so wanted to see Allegra's wedding.

Now she knew how Ana had felt. These were her friends, after only a couple of hours. Jane and Ana and Rose and Allegra and Nora. How couls she leave them?

She tried to hide her agony and hoped she succeeded.

"Oh well. I guess I'll just have to deal with it, huh?" Johanna tried to smile, to show that she wouldn't try anything.

But once she did leave, she's find out Jane's last name for her. She would.

Jane looked at her. Mind reader, she would have to get use to that. She wasn't sue to edward cullen but she was really hopeing that Joha wasn't like that annoy twit. We may be able to work something out, she thought. I can hear the sorrow in your voice.

She smiled up at her. "I am Aro's little girl in a way. Maybe I can sweet talk him."

Bless her. Joha's smile widened into a full blown grin. She supressed the urge to pounce at her with a huge hug, she was sure Jane didn't approve of hugs.

She settled for just thanking her.

"Don't worry, I'm definitely not like this Edward Cullen," Joha said, still grinning.

"Right come on Jane" She said, "We're all felling really weird and rather worried about your surprise, should we get this party started already?"

Joha looked over at Jane to see if she could read wether the boys were ready or not.

Maybe once this party's in full swing, I'll feel better, Joha thought to herself, smiling in anticipation.

Jane smiled at them both. The boys wern't ready yet. Jane had gotten a call from Alec saying not all them were ready and Alberto was planning something.

"My surpise isn't ready yet," she gave her wicked little smile. "But soon, very soon."
