True but lately it only seems to be blowing in the icky weather! I wish it would stop until it has nice pretty warm weather to blow in!

Well I'm glad someone does because most of the people I know say that they love CO weather because it gives you the four seasons and they are all very defined. I think I would rather have two seasons. Hot summer and cooler summer!

I have been poking my head in here from time to time.
You all have some pretty funny conversations.
I am cracking up at the weather talk. :D :D :D I find the oddest things amusing.

I am in Atlanta. Today is an awesome day. Sunny and 65.
Since we are having nice weather this week we will probably get a blizzard or monsoon next week.
You got love Southern weather it is unpredictable as the people who live there. :P :P :P

Its been freakishly warm lately, and I like it, unfortunately it'll be over by the weekend, as the weather hates matching up conveniently to the school week. It should be an afternoon high of -2 (28.4 F for all the Americans who can't just use a converter) at this time of year, but it was at least 5 (41).

I can't even imagine single-digit temperatures. /brr

...And I am bored. I desire intellectual stimulation.

I am quite worthy or having an intelligent conversation. Hit me with your best shot. I'm bored too.

That's kind of the problem. I need stimulation. I can't get going.

(And yes, I realize that the above could definitely go into the "Quotes that Sound Dirty" thread, but at the moment I'm too lazy to care.)

I'm going with the literal meaning of "debacle" here (i.e., disaster).

Where I come from, there is a lot of illegal logging going on. This leads to lots of flooding, but the loggers make too much money to care about it. Some time ago, a bad typhoon caused a river to overflow, and it flooded a town. It killed over 2000 people, leaving about 200 survivors in its wake.

This happened in 1991.
