Laura, Trine, & Caryn - you're so very welcome for that Jackson pic. I can't believe you guys didn't know about it! When that pic was first released a while back, I died every time I looked at it. I would do anything to get up close and personal with his tattoo. Yum.

Not being able to use a British slang term is ridiculous. The Lexicon gets pretty retarded with their language restrictions.
Have you guys seen the stuff they get away with on Twilighted? I swear, some of it makes even ME blush! Not an easy feat.

Trine, real butterflies creep me out too! That's so funny, I thought I was the only one. They are pretty, though.

I have no problem going back to the Halfway House. Makes sense, since August is almost over. But I will miss that Tiki bar. :( Maybe we can bring it with us?? :D

Jackson's tat~ that is unbelievably sexy. Like its right up there with Pantyward's. Srsly.

Soo.... according to the Lex's main page, Kings of Leon are NOT going to be on the NM soundtrack. Which makes me a sad panda.

However I DID finally remember what song reminded me of NM. It's by Elliot Smith and is, oddly enough, titled "Twilight". It's on Youtube if you wanna hear it.

Had to go through my play list to find it but in doing so, I found the following:

Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt (originally by Nine Inch Nails) Maybe a little too literal lyrics wise for DepressedBella but it's got this nice acoustic that rises up then falls. Very Bella/Jacob.

The Cranberries - Zombie. Title is a little literal but the opening riff and then the second guitar with distortion and then her voice soft but eerie with the thumping drum and bass, it's sexplosion. Plus SM had The Cranberries on her playlist, just not this one.

Evans Blue - Cold (But I'm Still Here). It just seems sort of Jacob after shifting. The opening before the lyrics is kinda haunting.

Anything from Linking Park's first three albums is good in my books. Plus the one I mentioned before by Feist called "The Mast"

Is Coldplay's The Scientist confirmed? I'd love to have them especially if it's their older stuff. If it's not The Scientist, I hope it's Trouble. Because it's beautiful. Srsly, go listen to it.

* Caryn jumps up and down clapping*

*Caryn runs to Julie's feet and bows..."I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy."

*points down to the signature of her post...

Julie~ You, my heart, are a fracking genius. I heart you in so many many ways, my ugly Rob lovin, Grunge wearin, favorer of the manscaping. I bow to your genius.

Genevieve~ I am beyond bummed that there wil be no KoL on the NM soundtrack. KoL owns my soul. Seriously, I worship them.

Sandy~ Yeah for school moms. But, even YAYer for time at home to catch up on ExWard and TattWard. Seriously, you will LOVE TattWard. Just leave yourself plenty of time before the girls get home, cause umm the thoughts TattWard inspires.... seriously, cold showers are a MUST.

*gazes at siggy again* *SIGH!!!*

Ohhh. I like that pic. Even more, I like that it looks like someone took it on a disposable camera and then scanned it in, and now it's all over the interwebs -- most notably, here.
Jazz Girl wrote:There can be plenty there, you just have to cup a little more.
I am STILL cracking up over "just cup a little more"!! How is that not worse than the Brit word for RobBuns?? Seems dirtier to me, but I guess it could be referring to... a cheek? On a FACE, you inappropriate RobLovers. And love the new siggy! Haven't seen a new Julie original in a while.

As for tattoos/piercings. I have my ears pierced (once) and my belly button pierced. I guess I've had tattoos on the brain recently, as last night I recalled that when I told my mother I had my belly button pierced she said "Well at least you didn't get a tattoo." Then I thought about getting one for my birthday. But the reason I've never gotten one is b/c I'm not sure what I would get.

SPEAKING OF PIERCINGS... what's the consensus about belly button piercings? Still hot? Or "so 10 years ago"? I lost my barbell recently (like, last night or something) and was trying to decide whether to replace it. It has been ten years, I'm pretty sure I got my $50 out of it, or however much it was. My sister (who got hers done AFTER mine, thank you very much) recently took hers out for good. Opinions, please?

Erika~ Yes, yes, the eWifey is a genius of epic proportions. After I read the end of WA, I decided I had had had to have a commemorative ForJazz original to memorialize that beautiful wonderful fracktastic literary gem. And, of course, she delivers like UPS, baby.

As for the belly button piercing, it's all in you, BB. Do you like having it? Is it something that has meaning to you? If yes, than keep it. If not, ditch it. But, don't let anyone else tell you what you want. If you want a tatt, have something that has that much meaning to you, get it.

I have a tatt on my ankle. To most, it just looks like a stupid Disney tatt. But, it has an incredible amount of significance to me, because of what it represents. I designed it myself and I wouldn't go back and change it at all. I am in the last stages of planning my next tatt, and hoping to get it before spring.

Rob may profess not to like tattoos...
But you know he want's KStew to tattoo his name somewhere on her body.

Caryn/Julie~ :o how does she just roll out awesomeness like that!? Srsly. It's beautiful. Perfect quote.

It is a little "10 years ago" but it depends on the person whether or not they can still pull it off. I would however suggest against any of those rhinestone ones as a replacement. As pretty as they are, porn stars and Wishing Trolls have ruined the look.

Hey Everyone!

I still haven't really had a chance to catch up. Real life is getting in the way. I have to officially go back to work next Monday, but us teachers need more time to get our rooms set up. So, I've been at school and unable to get on here. It makes me feel sad that I won't be able to get on here as much when school starts. :-(

Anway, I just wanted to quick drop in and say, "Hi" to everyone!

Here's a great manip I saw. Wedding Edward and Bella

Love your new siggy Caryn!

And, I vote to go back to The Halfway House, but will be fine with what everyone chooses.

Wishing trolls! Hahaaaaahaha!! So true. Haven't had a rhinestone one in a while. Just a plain barbell.

As for liking it... I think it's... fine. I'm kinda apathetic. And, bless my mother's heart, she didn't have influence over my piercing/tattoo decision when I was 18 and she was still paying for college... she certainly does not now.

Did you already share what your tattoo looks like/its significance, Caryn? Will you? and your thoughts about your new one? I understand if it's too personal.

RE: tattoos on the wrist... I think those look awesome. I had a friend who broke up with a fiance (who didn't like her tattoos) and proceeded to get a new one on her wrist. It says "I Am I"

I would probably want it in a place where I didn't have to show it all the time. I've also heard once you start getting inked, you can't stop. That's part of the reason I haven't started.

JulieM~ That manip....WOW. Seriously love it. Though I always pictured Edward in a traditional tuxedo, I like that take on it too. Very cool colors, like our Twilight vamps.

Hell, I just love the visual of them getting married period. Just makes my heart smile.

Yep, I'm all for the return of The Halfway House, feeding the addiction til the Sun comes round again. Ahhhh, home sweet home.

Erika~ My tatoo, which is right above my ankle on the outside of my right leg, is the black Mickey silouhette with his glove holding a heart centered over it. Seriously, Disney is kind of like my spiritual touchstone. It's cheezy as hell, I know. But it means a lot to me. And the glove with the heart is how I live my life. I give my heart to those I love, and give it freely. So, the three together just kind of seemed so representative for me. What can I say, I'm a big dork.

As for my next ink (yes, I agree they are kind of addicting, I've wanted my second one since I got my first), I had to wait a while for it. I am going to get my hubs and two boys names tatted around my ankle. I had to wait because we toyed with the idea of having bb#3, whom would have to be included. But, now that that is not happening, I'm good to go. I am still working on the final design. I want the writing/script to be kind of Celtic(lots of Irish blood in this here fam) and I want ther to be a chain to an anchor on my foot. My boys, all three, are what keep me grounded.
