I think you make a couple of great points. Edward NEEDS to be absent for a good portion of the movie. The movie goer needs to feel the separation from Edward that Bella feels. And when she hears his voice - oh I hope they don't do any stupid floating head type thing, that would be soooo wrong, but your idea of just showing his lips or eyes when she hears the voice, like a fuzzy dream...... Oh I'm already in pain just thinking about it. They also need to make time for Jacob and Bella's relationship to grow - I'm rereading New Moon right now, just thinking how they act so silly with each other - so that you can feel the tension between Jacob and Edward . . . . Whoooooooooooo!

I really think it should be JUST his voice. Just as it is in the book. Just that velvet voice, and she can look for him, but see nothing.
And I'd like a PM for the online viewing, too, please. I've already seen it four times, but yearning for more. (addicted? Me? No no...)

Re: New Moon Movie ~ Take 2
I've never had a very clear mental image of what Aro looks like either, but I definitely never thought he was supposed to be much older than 40. But I saw someone suggest Bill Nighy for him and I've had that hilarious image stuck in my head ever since, haha.
I think it would be a horrible idea to show Edward at any point between when he leaves Bella and when she gets to Italy. His prolonged absence is what makes the story so dark and depressing as it's supposed to be and I agree that it would ruin the magnitude of the time he and Bella finally see each other again.
On another subject, if this hasn't been brought up yet, I'm pretty worried about how the wolves are going to look. They could use real wolves for some shots, but probably not all the time. There needs to be something intelligent and almost human-like about their faces. This could be accomplished with good CGI (a la King Kong), but it could also end up looking obviously fake like the bears in The Golden Compass. They need to look a little scary, not like cartoons. Even if they'll be getting a better budget for this one than the first movie, they also have to do filming in Italy and lots of expensive stuff for this movie and I worry that it won't be enough for the special effects to be good.

Re: New Moon Movie ~ Take 2
when I was watching twilight last night, i did noticed a few scenes with wolves in them (i think when jake was telling Bella of the 'myths'), and they used real wolves for that. They didn't show any phasing, just a group of men with wolf head hats and then cut to wolves running in the woods. It might not be too far of a stretch to say they'll use real woves in NM!
Re: New Moon Movie ~ Take 2
Okay I've been doing all sorts of research on those I think would be good for the cast.
So these are just, you know, ideas.
Jane:
Depending on how old they play her:
Hannah Lochner: http://pds5.egloos.com/pds/200703/23/64 ... 035254.jpg
Dakota Blue Richards: http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2007/ ... x343,0.jpg

Regarding the Wolves...I was ponedring this very thing last night and it occured to me that the movie Blood and Chocolate had a scene, or several if I'm remembering right, with humans phasing into wolves. Granted the wovles were small and skinny comapred to the Quiliute(spelling?) wolves...but I think summit could use a similar effect to simulate the phasing...but they'd have to use larger wolves than the B&C ones.
Here is a link to the B&C scene I'm refering too...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l71UXPt ... ed...speed the video to 1:25 and watch to 1:29 for the clip. (yes..i realise this is a link to a Breaking Dawn teaser...but it is a well made one and happend to have the clip I wanted to use as my example. )
