yeah so I said I won't say anything more about it, but Malekk you asked a question and I'll give you my answer. No, it wouldn't matter to me if Jacob isn't as tall as the books describe him. It's impossible for an actor to meet ALL of his criteria, and I believe the same with Edward. But it's not just that Jacob is what 6'7?...it's that he goes from being this little 15-year-old in Twilight to basically becoming a man in New Moon. It isn't only height; it's his face, his body, everything about him. Doesn't Jacob tell Bella that he reaches full capacity for his physical development? Can Taylor really portray that? It would make sense to say WOW he has CHANGED, because that's what happens. An actor who looks like Taylor can portray that without it being too weird.
sarina1113, I totally understand the consistency thing. I'm not saying they shouldn't try to work with what they have (more importantly, what they chose
) but I'm guessing they've already gone down that list before pondering better options. I don't see the need for all of this speculation though -- it either will or won't happen. And it's not like they would replace one of the vampires, who are never supposed to change, they would replace someone who drastically changes in a very short period of time. That makes more sense to me.
As for Copon, I don't really know anything about him.
