Yes that's my main point. He sees her, remember we saw Nessie bite Bella through Jacob's eyes. Which means he saw her, granted she was covered in blood but still that should not have meant anything. So why was it only the second time when he looked her in the eyes with the intent to kill did he suddenly imprint.
DID they make eye contact though, I mean she was covered in blood so maybe her vision was blurred!
I always saw imprinting as love at first sight but more intense.
Maybe he looked but never really saw!
I know this is a bad example but you can look at the TV and not take it in!
Maybe it was somehting like that!
I don't suppose I'm the only one...
But I got really impatient reading through Jacob's book.
I skimmed through the pages to get back to Bella's dramatics.
I just don't like Jacob, sure he is a really good friend to Bella,
but I just don't like his meddling with Bella and Edward's gorgeous relationship.
Actually, he never SAW Nessie till he went down the stairs. If you read in the book, he kept staring at Bella. He FELT the heat from the baby, he saw where the baby bit her, but never SAW the baby, Edward moved the Baby before He had a chance to look at it. And afterwards, he went right into save mode, so he still didn't have time to see the child. Thats why he didn't imprint then. pg 352 - 353

At first I found Jacob's book boring... hilarious, but still boring.
After reading it a few more times, I really love it now. It was interesting seeing his POV.

"What a lucky lamb."
I loved being inside Jacob's head for a change! The wolf bits are good, especially with Leah and Seth.
It was really sad to me though, I cried for about half of it. Luckily it's also funny, so not too depressing

Haha - I loved how the chapter titles were like a paragraph. But yes, I IMMENSELY enjoyed Jacob's book!! I find him hilarious But although his book is funny, it is also terrible sad. It breaks my heart how clearly depressed Jacob is in his book. If you compare him in there to the beginning of New Moon..well wow the contrast is huge! It's painful for me to read..
In conclusion, Jacob's mind was much more interesting than Bella's, IMO. Though I would have rather had a toad on the side of the road tell the story than Bella

????? Disturbed by Edward in bed?!? That for me was one of my fav bits! (and no not for obvious reasons...) BD was my fav - all through Eclipse I was like "when are they ever gonna get on with it?" "WHEN will she be a vampire" and then it all happened!
I was a bit annoyed when it switched to Jacob at first I was like "woah! what happened there" but as I read it I really loved it - it was a really clever way of moving the story forward when Bella's basically laying on a sofa all day and also making it fresh and exciting for the reader. Then it switched back to Bella at exactly the right time - fantastic writing, loved it!
