I just got my paws on a set of AC/DC tickets for this Friday.
Mucho excited. It should be an amazing show.

I'm also seeing Cradle of Filth this month, on the 20th I believe.
Should be a good show too.

Has anyone heard of the band Amon Amarth?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFq2YJKYa-k

Been listening to them for a while, they are hella good.
I love their music because their songs tell a story.
Like the song that I posted, it's all about them going into a battle, and how he dies, and that they should "lay a stone for all to see" in his memory.

Brilliant song :)

Amon amarth is great, ive seen them live numerous times. I dont agree into the heave metal topic though. Amon amarth for instance is viking metal. Mb the topic should be just metal.

Im mostly into folkmetal nowadays, but i like all kinds of metal.
in extremo, amon amarth, samael, opeth, saltation mortis, leaves eyes, moonspell, srapping young lad, after forever, orphanage, etc etc
I love going to festivals like (www.summer-breeze.de), where i can watch all kinds of bands and discover some i dind t know before.
But i also listen to michael jackson (thriller!), madonna, pink, and that kind of stuff.
And one of my favourite classical songs: dance macabre by saint saens.
Actually i can listen to almost anything except: hiphip, r&b, rap, dutch songs and ska.

Lots of people don't know much about metal.
They think its all the same..
But in fact, there are many genres of metal. Blackened Death Metal, Thrash, Metalcore, Progressive Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal, Viking Metal, Gothic Metal, Grindcore ect.. The list goes on forever.

Many people don't listen to metal because they think its 'noise' . My mum used to think that it was just noise, and that it sounded like Satan was erupting from the speakers lol. But one day I sat her down and made her listen to a few bands, and she started appreciating the music. My mum is almost 40 years old and she's one of the biggest metal heads I know.

These days everyone seems to be clouded by those biitch-boy bands such as Metro Station, or the 'Gangsters' who rap about how horny they are. Seriously, that crap is NOT music.

Yep.
I love this idea.
Coheed is an amazing band, and they deserve to share a stage with 2 of the greatest bands alive. :)

Alright, so I've been MIA for a while.
Lots of concerts.. haha.

To start off, I'd like to state that I've officially met my favorite band.
THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER !
http://www.myspace.com/blackdahliamurder

I saw them live two weeks ago. My friends band (Terrohorse) shared the stage with them.
So we stayed back after the show to have a beer or two, and the whole of The Black Dahlia Murder joined us ! :D

I play drums myself, so it was a great inspiration to meet my favorite drummer<3
He gave me a hug and I nearly fainted HAHAHA.

2 days before the BDM show, I saw Avenged Sevenfold and the day after that, I saw Protest The Hero .

I've also seen Gojira, Job For A Cowboy, BMTH, Suicide Silence, Five Finger Death Punch (again) and Escape The Fate in the past 2 months.

On the way I've found some cool new ssssshiit that you guys NEED to listen to !

Terrorhorse , for starters.
Not only are they my friends band, but they truly have talent.
It amazes me that they aren't signed yet.
http://www.myspace.com/terrorhorse

Baptized In Blood
Seen these guys twice now.
Proper amazing band.
http://www.myspace.com/baptizedinblood

Tool isn't quite new to me, I've listened to them before, but I could never really get into them.
This past month I went out and got all their albums, and they are pretty amazing.

Mastodon is another band that I used to hate, but now I can't get enough of them lol.
Deffo worth the listen :)

iwrestledabearonce is another awesome band that I've really gotten in to.
Amazing vocalist :)

all of this is amazazing.

Aah, that sounds like fun!
I quit my job at Stitches, and I now have 3 students that I teach drums too.
It's pretty cool, getting paid to do what I love, haha.

Ah, RHCP!?
I would love to see them In concert.

Most memorable concert of this month would have to be AC/DC and The Black Dahlia Murder.
They we're both amazing shows.

Haha, niceee.
I never get hurt in the moshpits, I'm always the one doing the hurting, lol.
My friends would never let someone hurt me though, they would murder anyone who tried to take a swing at me.
