Oh dear.
My mom is the queen of superstitions, like seriously.
Well, one superstition I follow is the fact that I can't give shoes as a present. It's a superstition being that if you gave it as a present, it means something like you wanting to step all over your friend or your relationship with that person.
So yeah. But there's TONS of superstitions, I swear. Hahah.

^^^ Lol about the shoes thing.
My family isn't that superstitious. My sister is afraid of black cats though. One time a black cat crossed her and she tripped. She's afraid now.

I'm not superstitious, but my mom can be superstitious if she wants to be. Like all those Asian superstitious stuff. She actually believes in them. Don't even get me started.
Thank you Camille for making me this banner and being such an amazing friend and person. Love you. <3

I'm actually really superstitious... but only on some things. I don't believe in the shoes thing, though. To be honest, I actually don't know many superstitions - they are more my own.

Re: Friday the 13th (dun, dun, dun)--Superstitions
oh my gosh. ya, i definently have a few supersticious stories to tell you.
first of all, one day at the mall, my brother and i walked into a random skateboard store. we had never gone into this store before, so i have no idea why we decided to walk in, but we did. anyway, so we spent a couple minutes looking at some pretty random things, and finally decided it was time to go somewhere else. well, i wanted to get out of there because the people were kind of freaky, and i ended up accidently walking under a ladder. i thought nothing of it, and continued walking. well, we went past those little security detector things, and the alarm went out. uh oh. i turned around, trying to tell the freaky people that i didn't do anything, and they let waved me off. and that happened right after i walked under a ladder. hm...
second, it was april 13, 2007, aka: friday the thirteenth. my friend and i were in her room talking. i had a glass of water, and when i went to take a drink, a ginormous piece of ice went down with the water. it got stuck in my throat, and i started choking. well, being the idiot i was, i didn't even think of putting my hands around my neck to show that i was choking. i started gagging and coughing. my friend was like "oh no, oh no!! what happened?" of course, i couldn't tell her, because i was choking. she asked if i wanted some more water, and i nodded. she ran downstairs, and told her brother to go get her mom. at this point, she had figured out what had happened to me. she believed me. her brother, on the other hand, was like "no way! stupid. i'm not falling for that!" i somehow made it down the stairs, and gagged out the ice cube. it was bad.
to this day, i am still afraid of ladders and friday the thirteenth.
and lastly, i have a major superstition about getting out of bed on the left side. like, seriously, it deathly. for some reason, i think that this is "wrong side of the bed," and i should avoid it at all costs. i don't really know how that one came about, but it did, and now i either get out on the right side or the end. either way, it cannot be the left.

My Mum is a superstition-aholic. We don't put shoes on tables, break mirrors, open umbrellas inside, put hats on beds, walk under ladders, cross on stairs or spill salt
I'm sure there are more.
