I have gone back and forth but I think 'Twilight' will always have a special plac ein my heart because it was so fresh and new and exciting. The love story was so wonderfully created and written and it still holds the 'magic' for me.
By the way, has anyone put these books down for a while and then come back to them? I actually walked away for a month and now because I can not resist their 'siren call', I have picked up Twilight for the 14th, yes, 14th time.
If you have done this, how long did you go without reading them again and was it hard to stay away?
I'm curious.
The last time I read the books was October 2008, it is now February 2009. I tried to re-read the series in January but I couldn't get into them, I was heart broken but stopped, thinking "
maybe I need to take a break and read something else for a while" I haven't tried to come back to the books yet because I still don't feel the need to read them. I am exploring new books and series and now that I think about it, there are a few books that I enjoyed close to or the the same as Twilight. I think that every Twilighter out there should drop Twilight for a few months and read something else. You might find that there are other books out there that are just as good, I know that I did.
I know that you are all going to hate me now but it's the truth. If anyone takes my advise and drops Twilight for a few months please contact me and tell me how it was because I would like to know your point of views on it. I expect that you have all deemed me crazy and insane now but I have spoken the truth.
