Ok so I feel totally awful that I haven't posted for so long! Been kinda busy with work and holidays and family issues but things are slowing down now so I might be able to post!

Wow page 105! This is amazing! This is exciting! Maybe the mods will just let us keep it! That would be super fun!

Maria: That test sounds awful! My doctor once threatened to make me do one of those but thank goodness he didn't follow through! Hope you feel better soon!

Jasmine: That lady sounds super nice! It is always fun when you kinda befriend the people at the places you shop! I have befriended everyone who works as a clerk at two of the post offices in town and it makes my daily post office trips much more fun!

Ok so I should get back to work so talk to you all soon!

Ninna, squeeeeeeeeee!!!!! You rock :D I look forward to it, if it's super good I'll knit you a pair of lex socks... I just have to remember how to knit first  Otherwise I'll just have to start the Ninna Rox my Twi Socks campaign

Janny, haha, you're right, it was too late by the time I'd read it... hahaha, JK. Love to read about what people are up to, makes me feel better when I start on some randomness 8-) And I'll try and join you in the rule breaking on every page, keep the punishment evenly meted out haha

Maria, that sounds awful! Big hugs

I just got back from skipping out of working (which I will make up for by working later into the evening) and had lunch with my friend and we went to see Confessions of a Shopoholic, which was more her choice than mine, but was OK. It passed an afternoon, we got to hang out, had some ben and jerry's, and oggled the cute guy on the screen, so really not a bad film in a way haha.

EDIT: Woot! Page 106!

Rightyho, back to work!

*whispers* ForJazz926, psssssttttt, over here! I was waiting to say hi till the new thread (or have I said it? argghhh, memory like a sieve), but I'll say it here just in case, so HI!!!! I'm Becca, 27, Scotland (but not Scottish)....

OK so I was avoiding posting bc of the 100 page thing. But since you all are doing I will too. I don’t know if our thread will eventually become a black bottomless pit where we can go posting forever. MEGAN joins the Lexily gone wild Happy Dance. Megan got so excited that she felt the need to speak in 3rd person again.
I am going to a concert tonight with my family. Something we planned back in Dec. We are going to go see the Celtic Women (not sure if anyone has heard of them) We are Irish and my mom really loves their music, so we all got tickets as a family and it should be fun. Now what to wear……. :?

Maria- Sorry you had to go through that I have heard they aren’t pleasant. Hope the results are all good!

Eddie- Can’t wait to see the video! I love the FREE HUGS campaign. It is really cute and makes people smile.

Bells- I saw Coraline on Sunday in 3D It was cute. Scary for the little kids I think.

Jasmine- I loved your market story and how all the people are really friendly and talkative. We don’t really have that around here, but it sounds nice. I guess it comes with the territory of living in the US by a big city.

Becca- I saw confessions this weekend too. I so want some Ben & Jerrys! Yum! I thought the movie was OK, wasn’t what I expected. I was a movie seeing girl this weekend. I also saw Coraline and Slumdog Millionare too. I LOVED Slumdog! It was very good: breathtaking but also heart wrenching.

Welcome ForJazz too. I was also waiting to say HI, but figured will do so now. I am Megan, 25 from Chicago. Glad to see you here and hope you enjoy our Lexily :D

Dazzled: Oh my goodness! You are going to see Celtic Women! Oh I've wanted to see them for years! I watch their concerts on the PBS channel whenever they are on! I think they are coming to Colorado in the next couple of months and I am hoping to go and see them! You will have to tell us how it is!

For all you who saw Confessions: Was it worth seeing? I think it looks cute and I have been diagnosed as a shopaholic so I thought it would be fun to see but I could always wait for it to be available to rent!

Oh and I feel so bad about not doing this earlier but HI Jazz926! I'm Sarah or Mrs.JH or some form of that! I'm 19 and from Colorado!

I think I'll be buying some Sherrilyn Kenyon-books next. There was a thread for her books in 'Flight to Pheonix'. First I ever hear of her but then again; I am pretty much not up to date with all the books in the world. There's so many I can't chooce. I found Sherri's books on play.com :D I'll order the first one next week (gives me some time to finish Host..). The summary sounds very interesting. 8-) Any Lexling read them?

Loved Jasmine's Market story.

I got PM'd by Nena. I think she's just about to get us a new thread..

@mrsjasper hale haha yeah i always befriend ppl at shops and such, on markets i always get a huge discount because of it.

@dazzled, well i used to live in a village and worked in a big store there. Im from the south and ppl are more social there, everyone talks to everyone. Especially when you work in a store you get to 'know' everyone.
When i came to live here in the north in a city, ppl always stared weird at me when i started talking to them, foe example in line for the register. But finally i grew on them and ppl started to talk back. Nowadays lots of stores are always asking how we are, especially when they havent seen us for a while, and talking about random stuff or stuff we are both interested in. After our wedding we even had to show our weddingpics at a few places they asked for them :) And fcourse my lingeriestore, they always wave or say hi when i walk past, they now my size without me telling and always know wo gave me the gift card ill use to purchase something. They even know my hubby by name hahah.
I just love to shop that way, its more fun and personal. I used to love it when ppl talked to me when i worked in a store, so i figure others might to. And most of the time ppl like it. And sometimes it even gets you stuff :)
This one time, a lill store was closing and selling stuff for really low prices, like hello kitty stuff for just a couple of euros. We always bougth shirts and presents there. They gave me a hello kitty servertray :) And my hubby really loved this copper bell with , i think it is, pazuzu on top. The tag said 40 euro, but the woman said ''for you, because i know it will get a great place, you can have it for 4 euros''!!! I just love that kind of stuff

ANd the legend lives on....106!

Ill prolly wont get to post on the next few pages...too bad...but i will be here in spirit..*dramapose* :D

106!

(and yes, I will do this for every page over 100 we make it too :D )

First, I feel bad for not welcoming ForJazz to the lexily! I'm Rachel/Rose (either one works), 25. Hope you have as much fun here as we all do!

Second... and totally random... but there is a hilarious "news" story on The Onion's website about a (fake) Sony product- it is full of profanities so if you are sensitive to such things I'd avoid it! But in it they use the term "Time Vampire" (because the product sucks up all your time trying to figure it out) and I just thought it was funny and of course made me think of Twilight, though this was the only reference to vampires in it  :? Doesn't really seem funny the way I typed it out *cricket cricket* but seriously... I was in tears.
(And in case people don't know... The Onion is totally made-up news, but is totally hilarious)

PM me if you want the link... it is definitely not PG -or PG-13- or whatever level of appropriateness content posted on the Lex should be. For sure R do to language.

Becca.... you lost me there...

Cappu... Why'd she Pm you? and not me or Lily? Hmpf! I'm tearing this thread up now, shall we reach 110 before shut down? *Dances even wilder, throwing her Gen Y socks in the air*

Misty... I LOVE!!!! the banner you sent me... I just might use it... ;)

I'm off to shower. I dislike how much my life decreases my Lex-time!

This feeling of impending doom is quite annoying!!!

I'll cave and tell my news.
I watched Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire again last night… Oh how I cried when Cedric died. I always do. It’s my second favorite HP movie; the number one is Prisoner of Azkaban. Rob was so cuuutttee! I remembered when I first saw the movie at the theater. He stole my heart!

I listened to an interview today, the one he gave to Ryan Seacrest at a radio… Gosh, he sounds so real. Normal grounded and balanced. It made me appreciate him a bit more.

I didn’t get the job. Oh, well, the next one will be a hit, I hope. I really want to work with translation and I am trying my best to put my name out there. Tho I only translate English to Portuguese, there is a fine market out there and they ought to have me!

Jasmine – No matter what you rant about, I love it. The lady at the market sounds really sweet. It’s the best thing to have people like this in our lives.

Maria – I hope you’re feeling better. I'm so sorry about this awful experience, wish you could have done this here, well sedated and all.

Mrs. JH: Confessions is totally worth seeing. It was completely adorable and funny. I don't know if you've read the books, but the combine parts of the first 3 books into the movie and add some new characters to get everything accomplished. I really enjoyed it, they kept all the best parts from the book too.

Jasmine: You shopping/market stories are great. It makes me want to get to know the people working at the places i shop :D

ForJazz926: Welcome! I don't think I ever said Hi b/c i was hoping for a new thread. Anyway...I'm Ally, 20, South Carolina
