WOW - I am guessing you are going to be HUGELY disappointed in the movie adaptation of Twilight. Movies are condensing tons of information down to a 90 - 120 min movie; following every detail is impossible.

Well I think in the case of the Twilight movie it is supposed to pretty much stick to the story in the book, not word for word of course, but still be the same general plot. As for Blood and Chocolate there were major diffrences like Settings, Age of the Characters, Background information, really just all kinds of stuff changed in the movie. I really enjoyed the book and I thought the movie was ok, but with the diffrences between the two it would not seem strange to me for someone to love one and hate the other.

I started reading the book when I was younger. I put it down because I was afraid it would end up being way too sexual for me. I'm kinda picky about my books. But seeing how you all have read it, I was hoping you guys could give me some more feedback on this topic. Are there any sex scenes and if so how descriptive? No offense to anyone but it's just not my cup of tea.

Thanks!

I think it's safe for you to read. There's no extremely graphic sex scenes, but there are little hints of sex. It's sensual, not exactly sexual. There's violence and language though. I'm not sure if that bothers you, but it's safe to mention. :D

Yes, Le-Petit-Mort has a point. And there really aren't any sex scenes in the book so you don't have to worry about that, but sometime some parts do get sensual but their not really graphic or anything of the sort. :geek:
