^^ omg I was sooo damn angry with the treetop scene.
1. Bella would've slipped/tripped.
2. Edward would never take her up there - way too dangerous
3. She wouldn't look amazed/excited. She'd be worried/freaking out.

It was just wrong in so many ways. I seriously want to get inside Catherines/Melissas head.
What the fricken hell were they thinking??!!?

Not. Cool.

I hear what you're saying about the treetop scene... but it was just so BEAUTIFULLY shot, I had to forgive it.

I, too, love the "You can Google it" part.

I really missed the fact that we didn't learn that much about Carlisle's history. I think they're going to have a hard time with that in NM.

Absolutely.
Carlisle is quite an important character, well to me he is. And I felt we needed his history in there somewhere.

What about the Blood typing scene...it was so much better that the green is good field trip. if we coupled that with the cafatria Q&A with B&E that should have happened we could have covered a ton of good ground on their love story... :(

This is where i plead to not be shot by the film lovers, haha!
But i am not the biggest fan of the film at all, in fact i think Catherine Hardwick pretty much slaughtered it.
I'm probably a little bias because of how much i love the book, but, I felt that the emphasis was put on Edward being a vampire and Bella being a human, instead of Edward the vampire and Bella the human falling in love. If that makes sense?
Although i loved the kitchen scene and Esme's line of 'Clean this up. Now.' So funny seriously.
I think the dinner in port angeles scene was ruined, where was the conversation that made it important? and the conversation from in the car too. And in the beginning they showed her being 'dazzeled' yet they didn't bring it up? with the 'do i dazzle you?' bit, it didn't make sense to show her being dazzeled but not mention it? if you didn't read the book you would just think she was having a funny 5 minutes. I think they also could of put more into the meadow scene.. it lost its 'magic'. and also they seemed to rush through their romance... like all the conversation in the bedroom at night and y'know? It just seemed like one minute they were just meeting, next he was saying shes his life.. they didn't really show how close they had become.
I also felt that the films Bella wasn't as vulnerable as book Bella, but that may just be because we don't hear her thoughts..
& also the way the film Edward says 'i'm gonna take you to my place' seemed too 12st century, whereas book Edward is supposed to speak with 'perfect formal articulation' that can only be picked up in a different century.
I thought the way Jessica and Lauren were combined into the one character was quite interesting, but it lost some of the friends dynamic.. but i loved the way Jessica introduced all the Cullens and the 'the one that looks in pain' line about jasper! So funny! & the little smile Edward gives that shows he can hear not only what Jessica is saying but also what she's thinking. Oh and i loved the Baseball scene where Bella calls Rosalie out, and she turns and glares!
I thought the Wolf comments were quite clever and the way that the fight scene and the falling down the stairs story were playing on the tv screens in the hospital was really quite inventive!
Corr... Well i did say i could rant about the movie for hours! hahah.

^ agreed.

I think I can safely say that Twilight was completely butchered.
I want Chris to remake Twilight :(
