I am just over half-way through the book and it was so worth giving up my grocery money for.

Are we going to have a 'no spoilers for X days' policy after Tuesday? Or are we just going to say, it comes out officially on Tuesday, therefore those with the book/who have read it can talk about it on Tuesday?

No, we typically have a spoiler-free period of one to two weeks after the book comes out to allow most of the people of the thread time to receive and read the book. Now would be a good time to guage everyone and find out how much time is needed. Since my rlf "Bookbuddy" is getting it on release day and I'll be borrowing it from her, I vote for at least two weeks from Tuesday. What do you guys think?

Una, I agree with the 2 week spoiler-free period. I'm supposed to receive it the day it's released, but with possible shipping issues and then reading it around work and the kids...I'd feel better knowing I had that time...as long as it's ok with everyone else too

I knew we usually did for the Twilight books - just hadn't been on any of the other book discussion threads at a release day before.
I don't know when my copy will get here - probably Wednesday or Thursday - so just one week would be fine for me.

Perhaps we could say, 2 weeks until we talk about it here, but those who get the book could just post that they've got it, then those who want to talk can PM each other until the 2 weeks are up?
I just know I'll be bursting for discussion as soon as I'm finished.

My dearest Oleander, I am SO insanely jealous right now! Like you, I am not a Rehv fan. For you to be this giddy about it... AHH!!! It's killing me!

I vote for at least 2 weeks... As of now, I don't know of any way, other than buying the book, that I will be able to read it soon. I don't want to buy the book b/c it will mess up my series (OC gets me everytime ). I'm still hoping the library decides to pick it up. Or that it will be cheap for Oleander to mail it to me (not holding my breath there!) Maybe Kindle... I want to read it NOW!

I agree - we'll do a two-week spoiler free here. However for those of you that finish it before May 12th, please just let us know you've finished it and you can definitely pm back and forth. I should be getting the book from "Bookbuddy" on May 5th (since we are scheduled to have lunch) so I know I'll be ready by the 12th. I'm SO excited (and way jealous of you Oleander).

And I do believe that Rehv is going to eventually join the brotherhood and that quote was Rehv assuring Wrath that he's in it for real.
