The oldest thing we have is Blount Mansion. The house was built in the late 1700's - early 1800's and still stands in orginal, mint condition. They have tours. You realize just how small everyone was back then. You literally have to duck your head from room to room.

We have great restaurants - matter of fact I think we are the "restaurant capital" in our region.
We are surrounded by the Great Smokey Mountains. Actually Emmett is from near where I live. :D

Other than that, not much to tell about my "little city that thinks it can" ;)

Well,
I don't think that it is very interesting but Les Darcy was born in the town ilive in.
Last week and walking bridge got knocked over by a truck.
And our town had Australia's Worst flood in 1955 i think.......
Anyway our town has like 1million floods.

I reckon that this bakery in town has THE best cupcakes.
They have a really nice cake mix with chocolate for icing and a jellybean nose ,cream mouth and freckles for eyes..........

I live in the capital, so there's a lot of special things in my city!
The national museum, the botanical gardens and the the wildlife sanctuary are all popular with tourists, but the coast is the best place. In the city, Lambton Quay is a cool place to go.

Our town is totally boring. It's population is 2,000. So there's not a lot to do. The only real place to get food is Goldies. But I swear they have the best Ice Cream EVER!!!!! And the best fries.

I'm going to be doing San Diego area in general since I live in the suburbs and nothing special is here but parks and restaurants.
Well, ComicCon is coming. I would've gone, but they ran out of tickets. :( Hmmm...then there's the San Diego Zoo and Sea World and the Wild Animal Park. Big Bear, lots and lots of beaches. The largest structure made of wood, the Hotel Del (as featured in Some Like it Hot). Then there's Seaport Village and Old Town and Balboa Park. Hmmm...that's all I can think of right now.

my town is wicked small, and named after a town in new brunswick  but i love it here! i dont necessarily know whats best in our town.....our latin teams always win at convention, and our sports are usually pretty good, we used to have an amusement park, but someone bought it and got rid of it = ( other than that, theres sadly nothing special about my little town, but i love it all the same = )
