New Favorite ... gotta' listen.

MOTEL MOTEL: Real-Indie/Folkish-Rock
  • x Coffee
    x Mexico

Motel Motel is what I like to think of being true-hearty Indie, strut with Folk-ish tunes and vocals. A non-flashy band with song titles ranging from Mexico to Cigarettes and back to settling with the Mountains. The bands sound its self is a definite refresh-rate, tuning in with Neil Young, White Rabbits and perhaps a take of a timeworp Dylan. Your Dad would love it, but nevertheless, you would see Motel Motel having a small spread in NYLON all the same. Listen and search the song names on Hypem.com

Holy Crow...am I really the first Taylighter in here?

Well. I shouldn't even have to say it, but Hanson.

I challenge you to drop whatever pre-concieved perceptions you may have of them, and just watch and listen here:

lol I can't think about Locksley without thinking about Fool's Banquet Taylor yelling about Kai wearing pink underwear on that weird "Coming Back For More" demo.

I just visited Stephanie's site and found a MV up that she produced by a singer I've never heard of..result of having Itunes library and alot of songs I don't venture past that very often.

At any rate the song is called The Resolution by Jack's Mannequin and it's actually pretty good, not my usual but my tastes seem to be veering away from the Beetles Buffet, and Chicago..yes I'm showing my age but anyway this is pretty good song.

Well, being the Hanson fan I am, I have to say Hanson.

But I also suggest:

A Fine Frenzy (Lifesize and You Picked Me are both really good songs)
Kerli
Tokio Hotel (and yes, they are more than just Bill Kaulitz)
Ingram Hill
Key Poulan (just instrumental, marching band music, but it's really good)
Yiruma (amazing pianist)
