I'm sorry I don't have the page number right now, but these quotes I really like.

- Edward is only human, he is going to react like any other boy... - Angela, eclipse

-Well, that just sucks! I guess I'm stuck with Mike Newton after all - Bella, Eclipse

- Maybe you should pick on people your own size. Charlie, Eclipse

-Bella: "Should I be afraid?"
Edward: "Terrified
Breaking Dawn.

I really love the whole scene in eclipse when Edward comes home from hunting and proves the point of have a bed. it's to long to write down...

Oyeah and something about an isleland and breaking funiture....Headboards.... ;)
These violent delights, have violent endings...Like fire and gunpowder, they consume what they kiss

Dear Marielle, am from Nicaragua, my english not so good, but i just love Twilight Saga, i have some doubts about Breaking Dawn, well just one to be precise and I woul really appreciate if you could cleared up.

Well it is at the last chapter 39.The Happily Ever After, after Bella let Edward read her mind, she says "Now you know, No one's ever loved anyone as much as I love you" but he say to her: "You're almost right, I know of just one exception" so my doubt is: Who is he talking about? Who it the exception? Himself, because of the way of hi love her? Please help me with this, cause it is unbearable not to know.

I will eternally grateful if you can help me to understand better.

Thanks, Yadira.

Carranzaya,

I believe it is implied that he means himself.
This is a more romantic version of the classic "I love you more"/ "No, I love you more" game that some couples will play.

Hope that helps.

Someone tell me if I'm wrong...

I'm deeply grateful, you're right, now that you put it that way it make sense to me, so i guess i wasn't so wrong after all, he was talking about himself, and you're right it is a game that couples like to play each other, always the same dilemma "who love the most".

Thanks and have a lovely evening. Yadira.

From Twilight (because I am rereading it right now :D )

"It was colossal tribute to his face that it kept my eyes away from his body."

And this one ties so nicely into the events of New Moon that I find it amazing it wasn't the idea (which it couldn't be since she didn't plan on writing New Moon when she was writing Twilight)

"If I had to, I supposed I could purposefully put myself in danger to him close...."

"Alice: I will play you for this. Rock, paper, scissors.
Edward: Why don't you just tell me who wins?
Alice: I do. Excellent!" Breaking Dawn... I think :P

That one had me laughing A LOT.... I could imagine Alice's AND Edward's face while they were speaking and it was just sooooo funny!!!!

"When I said I didn't want you, it was the very darkest kind of blasphemy", New Moon
(I'm sorry I don't remember the page  well, I only have the book in Greek anyway)

I didn't know where to post this question so I posted here. JazzGirl if you are out there I would love to hear your thoughts. I looked up the word blasphemy I was so confused. My question is what did Edward mean by blackest blasphemy. Can't remember the exact quote. Thanks

I'll try to speak -well, write- and explain how I see it from my point of view. (Excuse my english, once again  )

I think he meant that saying those words were the worst thing anyone could ever do - and not only him. I think of it like telling an angel that they are dark, ugly creatures, like telling a little innocent child horrible things, like insulting someone's religion bruttaly. End even worse than that.

Gosh, I'm not really good at describing it, am I? Oh well. At least I have a very clear image of it in my head. Sorry if I can't put it so well here.... :)

Hello!
I have many favourite quotes from the Twilight saga but above all I love the following one:

"Before you Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars - points of right and reason. And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brillancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, where the meteor had fallen over the horizon, evrything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinked by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything".

New Moon, p. 510 "When I told you that I didn't want you, it was the very blackest kind of blasphemy."

SweetPea~ Before I answer, let me say that, while I am a spiritual person, organized religion really holds no sway for me. If it works for you, great, and I envy you your faith. So, nothing in this response is meant to insult or disparage. It's just how I speak. That being said...

Usually, yes, the word blasphemy is used to refer to any comments made that curse God or anything of a religiously important nature. More importantly, blasphemy is also immediately considered the worst kind of lie. In the more common English, it can also be used to refer to language or comments that curse anything held sacred by someone. The one thing Edward holds sacred is Bella. Therefore, not only for him to say something so hurtful of her (that he did not love her or want her), it was not only the worst kind of lie he could tell, but the worst kind language he could use ever. The blackest blasphemy translates to the darkest/worst lie. It is, in my heart, one of the most heartfelt comments he ever makes.
