"Of course," I replied with a nod. I gave a half bow to the three Masters and followed the others. Alec and Jane were talking quietly as they took the lead, I walked a bit slower for a little, so I could place myself nearer to Demetri.

Matilda gave a masters a curt bow before following the others outside the chamber doors. She wasn't one to socialize...especially in large events such as the one that were about to have. But she supposed that there was always a first time for everything. The lights around her hovered along gingerly, while a few stray white shards stayed behind to join with the newly fallen.

Nora was happy the tests were over and that she had impressed the Masters. She was also pleased that the guards she was closest to had also done extremely well.

Nora overheard Elena, "You know what," Elena started saying, "Last time we had a party, what do you think about celebrating?"

"A celebration sounds perfect!" Nora needed a good, fun distraction from all the recent chaos.

"It would be nice to get out of the castle once in a while." Alec muses, stretching out his arms as if they are actually in need of stretching.

"Celebrating sounds nice." Jane agrees, though her voice is guarded since the Masters are still in the room with us.

"Let us discuss this in the common chamber. I'm sure the Masters would like some time to themselves." I say, gesturing for the guards to file out.

Nora followed the group into the common chamber. She noticed Matilda close behind, she looked wary of what was being planned. She knew Matilda wasn't very found of socializing in large groups and gave her a smile, "It'll be more fun than overwhelming, I promise."

"It'll be more fun than overwhelming, I promise." Nora said suddenly, breaking through Matilda's train of thought.

Matilda managed a polite smile as the sounds of their heels clicking echoed down the hall.

"Where should we go?" Alec blubbered to the sea of guards. It seemed as if he was the most excited for this celebration than anyone else.

"You're having a party without inviting me?"
Afton returned and entered in.
He grinned.

I followed the guards out. I heard they were having some sort of celebration and for some reason, Caius was in a bitter mood. I had asked what was wrong and he hadn't answered. He needed time alone, as did I, so I ran to catch up to them.

"Hello," I said, "Do you mind if I join you guys?"

"Hmmm... where should we go?" I asked, wondering out loud. A faint smile was touching my lips. I hadn't felt this hopeful since forever! Well... since I was human, when I was very happy go lucky. Inside me, something was changing... but how? And why? This new feeling was strange...
